Cuntry Boner #1 Dance Single?

According to Maynard‘s Myspace Blog: Get this. Are you sitting down? Not sure how this happened, but I’m not complaining. Cuntry Boner just showed up at number 1 on the Billboard Dance Singles Chart and number 10 on the Billboard Singles Chart. Not kidding. Almost as funny as Jethro Tull winning a Grammy for Best METAL Performance. Hopefully it won’t go down. El Oh El.

Tool nominated for another Grammy

Tool have been nominated for another Grammy more than 12 months after 10,000 Days was released.  Maybe they’ll win it, who knows… Category 17 Best Hard Rock Performance (For solo, duo, group or collaborative performances, with vocals. Singles or Tracks only.) * Sweet Sacrifice Evanescence Track from: The Open Door [Wind-up Records, LLC] * The Pretender Foo Fighters [Roswell/RCA Records] * I Don’t Wanna Stop Ozzy Osbourne Track from: Black… Read More »Tool nominated for another Grammy

Poll Results: Does a repetitive setlist alter your view on Tool’s live performances?

Last week I asked a somewhat controversial question regarding Tool‘s set list.  There are a lot of strong feels out there regarding Tool‘s recent tour habits, and a good percentage of Tool fans are dissappointed by the lack on change in their set list.  Compared to the Lateralus tour, the 10,000 Days tour has been considerably more static, and generally shorter in set length. Customised Tour Poster

ckkenn from Toolarmy shared with us today a couple of pictures of a Tour Poster customised by Adam at the recent Everitt show.  Here they are for you viewing pleasure:

Signed Lateralus been and gone!

Toolarmy has a post indicating that a limited quantity Signed Lateralus Vinyl was available earlier today.  Unfortunately for those of you reading this for the first time, they appear to be sold out.  No word on if any more of these will be made available at any point, though I’d suggest there wouldn’t be many more hidden away in the TA warehouse.

TU with Tool

It’s quite possibly too late now, but Toolband/Army informs us that TU (Pat Mastelotto and Trey Gunn from King Crimson) will be opening for Tool in Everett tonight.  They’re also playing at the Portland show.  They go on before Trans-am, so don’t get there late if you want to see them!

Vicarious video shown live?

In a recent live photo posted on Toolband/Army, the screens behind the band would appear to be playing part of the Vicarious video. Anyone at these shows care to comment on how much of the new video footage is being played at recent shows?

Theme Change

You may have noticed that the Fourtheye Theme has finally changed from the subdued whites and greys of the old to the hellish reds of the new.  Hopefully you enjoy the new one more than the old.  If you don’t, you can always change the theme by going to the Themes section on the left and selecting a different one.  The old one is Fourtheye 06.  You may also notice… Read More »Theme Change
