And it just keeps on coming…

Seems like every website I got to this weekend has something new about Tool, Maynard or something else. Here’s another couple of things you may have missed. From Blabbermouth: The Pulse of Radio reports: TOOL frontman Maynard James Keenan says that he recently worked on a new song with drummer Brad Wilk and bassist Tim Commerford of AUDIOSLAVE and RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE. Although Wilk and Commerford were rumored to… Read More »And it just keeps on coming…

Maynard talks Puscifer

There’s a new Maynard interview on mp3.com where he talks about all things Puscifer.  I wonder how serious he’s being: Were you tossing around album titles for a long time, or was V for Vagina the only contender? We hosted a telethon in my mind. Many came, few were chosen to participate in a fight to the death. What were the other contenders? C is for Cunnilingus, O is for… Read More »Maynard talks Puscifer

Tool in Relix Magazine

  • Tool

Blair tells us that Tool are in the latest issue of Relix Magazine.  I’ve never heard of this publication before, nor seen it in Australia, so good luck finding it.  You can order an issue online though if you like. No idea what the interview contains, but the cover of the magazine shows Tool getting in the mood for the upcoming Aussie Cricket Season.

Vicarious Video Details

Since the truth is now out there, I’ll reveal what I know about the Vicarious video.  It’s not much really.  Here’s a copy of the letter I was forwarded over a week ago now, and sworn to secrecy: Hello, It’s with great excitement that we announce Tool’s long-awaited “Vicarious” DVD, featuring the unreleased video “Vicarious” and other content, will be released December 18 2007. As always with Tool, exact packaging… Read More »Vicarious Video Details

Vicarous DVD in December

Looks like the rumours were true… Blair just posted: My friends, we can no longer hide the terrible truth. The holidays are rapidly approaching, and with them the NEW TOOL DVD/VIDEO for VICARIOUS is scheduled to be released on DECEMBER 18th (or 19th) and will include an EXTENDED CUT, lots of BONUS MATERIAL and, of course, SPECIAL PACKAGING. Here’s a sneak preview of a working still. The working still shows… Read More »Vicarous DVD in December

Keenan Goes Upbeat For Puscifer’s Debut

Oldesch from Toolarmy shared with us this interview of Maynard on Billboard.com.  He talks about his motives behind Puscifer and probably other stuff too (I’m tired and my brain is read to cease all function).  Here’s an excerpt which may or may not be from that article: Keenan has claimed that Puscifer has no stated goals. “In a way, I’m trying to discover what [those artists] have discovered: a way… Read More »Keenan Goes Upbeat For Puscifer’s Debut

Don’t Shoot The Messenger on Aussie iTunes

When Maynard initially announced that Don’t Shoot The Messenger was available on iTunes, I checked it out on my copy and it didn’t appear.  Since some of my comrades in the US confirmed it was actually there, i presumed it was a US only thing.  However, things have changed and I logged on today and noticed that it is now available to Australian customers.  Tracks are $1.69 each, or the… Read More »Don’t Shoot The Messenger on Aussie iTunes

Jambi Lyrics

Blair has posted the lyrics for Jambi on Toolarmy today.  Non-Toolarmy members will just have to continue humming along until someone posts them online.  Blair also plugs the V is for Vagina CD from Puscifer, which is available for pre-order on the Puscifer site.  It’s not very Tool-ish for those that haven’t heard any yet.  Those wanting something more Toolish will just have to wait until December…

New Poll: Should Fourtheye have advertising?

It’s been put to me by both advertisers and Fourtheye members that I should consider having ads on this website.  I have a couple of points of view on it, that I’ll discuss below, but I’m interested in hearing what you guys think.  Are ads obtrusive?  Do you use Adblock and ignore them anyway?  Even if you saw an ad of interest, would you click on it anyway?  Opinions on… Read More »New Poll: Should Fourtheye have advertising?
