Josh Freese meets Jesus

Josh Freese from A Perfect Cirle must be a busy guy. Ultimate Guitar reports that he’s recently recorded with Head, the Jesus loving ex-Korn guitar player. For those who don’t know, Head left Korn after finding Jesus. Unlike Maynard, it would appear that Head was serious! Here’s a “Letter to Head”, I think your new CD is going to make us “Kry”. BTW the article is worth seeing, if only… Read More »Josh Freese meets Jesus

Freese in NIN

Blabbermouth report that A Perfect Circle’s Josh Freese will be filling in on drums which their usual drummer Jerome Dillon is off sick. Sounds like a good temporary solution to me, but all the best to Jerome and I hope he makes a speedy recovery.

Passive Video on Contantine DVD

The San Francisco Examiner are reporting that a A Perfect Circle video will appear on the upcoming Constantine DVD, presumably for the song Passive. Also included are the usual featurettes and easter eggs, and also a Limited Edition “Hellblazer” comic book. Feel free to comment on whether the movie is any good or not. I’ve never seen it nor have I ever heard of the “Hellblazer” comic.

James Iha’s future with The Smashing Pumkins?

Rolling Stone (amongst others) are reporting that Billy Corgan is attempting to get the Smashing Pumpkins back together. This could potentially mean that James Iha will be departing the merry-go-round that is A Perfect Circle. Given the bad words that were said by James regarding Corgan and co, I’d personally be surprised if he jumps at the chance, but if the moneys right……

MTV are reporting that: The Deftones, A Perfect Circle, Cave In, Poison the Well and Melissa Auf Der Maur will contribute songs to the forthcoming tribute album to influential 1990s transcendent rock icons Failure. The album should see release sometime this fall through Renfield Records Good luck to them, and I hope it’s something other than (and better than) “The Nurse Who Loved Me” or whatever it’s called!

Prying Open

About two years ago, I discovered RSS feeds. As simple method of streaming information and news from a correctly set up website. Shortly after that I discovered a Blog, the Living Colour Blog, which outlined the news and events of the band Living Colour. It included an RSS feed, which I find makes life very easy to collect the kind of information I wanted about the band. Today, as I… Read More »Prying Open

Billy Howerdel chats with Alternative Nation

Fourtheye forum member Brett asked us for some questions for Billy a few days back, and he’s delivered some answers as part of his interview with the Perfect Circle guitar player. There are even a few Tool related ones: My last question, I’ll admit a Tool question again, you mentioned in a recent interview again that Maynard is in full Tool mode and that’s why he can’t do [a new… Read More »Billy Howerdel chats with Alternative Nation
