Articles related to Maynard James Keenan, singer of the bands Tool, A Perfect Circle and Puscifer.

Maynard’s Pants on Ebay

For the Tool Collector who has everything, you can now buy Maynard’s Pants.  That’s right – this Ebay auction claims to have the actualy leather pants worn by Maynard in the Undertow photo shoot.  According to the description they are “beyond dirty”, and who knows if they’re legit or not!  Bidding starts at US$185. Thanks to MrManBack from Toolarmy for the tip.

Puscifer Live Rumour

The Gauntlet has a (very brief) article on Maynard, the Wine Signings and the new Puscifer Store and I picked up this little tidbit: Responding to rumors of a live incarnation of Puscifer and a possible Las Vegas outing this February, Keenan offered no confirmation but a knowing smile. Not really much point reading the rest of the article unless you’re a die hard.

Momma Sed video

I read this in Maynard‘s Myspace post the other day, but for some reason thought nothing of it.  Thanks to Jake for pointing out to me that the Momma Sed video is now streaming on Myspace.  It seems to be a full version of the Sunglasses ad that we saw a month or so ago. Momma Sed

D is for Dubby

Oldesch on Toolarmy tells me that there is a new Puscifer remix album available on Puscifer.com called D is for Dubby. This album contains nine tracks all remixed by Lustmord: Dub remixes from “V is for Vagina” by the elusive O.G. Goth legend, LUSTMORD. Lot’s of Dub out there in the world. Some of it is actually done correctly. Lustmord is one of the few who do it right. Turn… Read More »D is for Dubby

Slow News Week

Not much has happened this week, so here’s a few  Tool and non-Tool related items I noticed going on. The Puscifer store is either open, or opening very soon Jerome Arizona according to a post from Blair on Toolband.  Not doubt most of the merchandise available from the Puscifer online store can also be had there. Daily Grail are having a donation drive at the moment, and are offering a… Read More »Slow News Week

Buzz interview, Signed wine for sale

A couple of little things today, Shinji from the French Tool website Salival has posted an interview he did with Buzz from the Melvins.  Pictures from their recent show there can be found here.   Also, George emailed me a link to a Craigslist/Ebay auction for an autographed bottle of wine, singed by Maynard and Eric.  According to the post Maynard rarely signs stuff.  I guess he wasn’t aware of… Read More »Buzz interview, Signed wine for sale

Tool Newsletter, Wine Signings

The Augustember edition of the Tool newsletter is now out on Toolband/Army, and as promised it largely talks about Danny & Blair’s recent trip to Maynard’s Vineyard. A somewhat interesting read but don’t expect much Tool insight. There’s also some more information regarding Maynard’s upcoming Wine Signing Sessions at Whole Foods Markets about the place: “Vineyard owners Maynard James Keenan and Eric Glomski kick off signings of 2007 Arizona Stronghold… Read More »Tool Newsletter, Wine Signings

Puscifer Store Opening Soon

According to a new paste on the Puscifer Myspace page, a physical Puscifer Store will be opening soon in Jerome, Arizona: Hopefully by Oct 1st, we’ll be able to say it’s official, THE 1ST EVER Puscifer store will be opening. Ground Zero is Jerome, Arizona. It’s a small space above Jerome Tattoo, and across from Puffin Stuff in the Verde Apartment Complex. We’re still in the painting and renovation stage.… Read More »Puscifer Store Opening Soon

Maynard in Black Belt Magazine

A new article featuring Maynard and Tool Head of Security Todd Fox is in September’s issue of Black Belt Magazine.  It features them both talking about their martial arts training, as well as techniques associated with security and crowd control at Tool shows. Thanks to Rick for the tip!

Snippets

A couple of things have passed my desk today. Firstly there are a couple of new articles up on Toolband, on talking about Blair and Danny‘s trip to Maynard‘s vineyard.  Apparently this will be the covered in more detail in the next newsletter.  Blair also tells the tale of Danny losing $400 in a ATM recently after being asked for an autograph.  Oh the stories we hear when there is… Read More »Snippets
