Maynard Interview
The Tool Hotline posted this interview with Maynard on Vulture Droppings. He talks about Puscifer, horror films, wine, and nothing about Tool, probably why it’s more interesting than your standard crappy interview.
Articles related to Maynard James Keenan, singer of the bands Tool, A Perfect Circle and Puscifer.

The Sydney Big Day Out sold out on the first day today. Not quite sure on the time but I think it’s a record anyway. For all those that missed out I can empathise… lets hope for more to be released! Puscifer website has been launched. It looks quite good actually, but I haven’t dug too deeply yet. Edit: The Big Day Out website has been updated to say that… Read More »Sydney sells out!, Puscifer launched
Incase you missed it on The Tool Hotline. Maynard updated his Myspace, saying the new Puscifer website will be launched on October 13th. Finally. We’re gonna do it. Just a few more little tweaks and the site will be launched. Very relieved. The site will of course evolve as time goes on, but for now I’m very pleased. FRIDAY OCTOBER 13TH, 2006 We launch.
Hotsauceman on Toolarmy pointed out the Maynard‘s Myspace site has changed. He hints that the Puscifer website should be up and running in 2 weeks, and also suggests that there will be podcasts and mp3 samples. In other news, Blair on Toolband/Army reports that Adam’s brother Al will be playing a couple of gigs. One is with his band Mission Creep on the 29th of September, while the other as… Read More »Puscifer in 2 weeks? It’s been well documented that Maynard is a lover of wine, and has a special place in his heart for the Australian drop Grange Hermitage. Some of you may remember that Maynard paid $65,000 for a bottle of this stuff once. Anyway, it seems that Penfolds, the winery in question has started a VIP club for wine affectionados. To celebrate this Chief Winemaker Peter Gago will be embarking on a… Read More »Penfolds Wine
Maynard has risen from his sickbed to post an update on the A Perfect Circle website. Apparently Billy is working hard on his solo stuff, Maynard is working with Tool, on wine and doing Puscifer, and that 13th Step and eMotive lyrics should be up soon. Is this post some kind of sign that APC are not dead? Who knows. Thanks to those stoned dudes at The Tool Hotline for… Read More »APC Update?
Blabbermouth posted an excerpt from an interview Adam did on 99.5 KISS today, where he explains the reason for cancelling the San Antonio show. As we expected it’s due to Maynard’s illnes: “Oh, I’m really sorry,” Jones said. “It’s horrible, you know. Our singer got sick… Maynard is sick and it’s very unfortunate ’cause, you know, when I get sick or Danny [Carey] or Justin [Chancellor] get sick, we can… Read More »Adam explains the Cancellation
Lance and Bob both emailed me to let me know that tonights San Antonio at the AT&T Center has been cancelled due to illness. Those who’ve been following reviews of recent Tool shows will know that Maynard has been struggling the last few nights, and as a result the setlists seem to be a little more instrumental than normal. Anyway, hope you get well soon Maynard. TOOL Postpones Tonight’s Engagement… Read More »San Antonio Show Cancelled
There have been plenty of you asking for a link to Maynard‘s Myspace site, and thanks to an update on the Tool Hotline, here it is.  Oh, and here’s some of what Maynard has to say: My name is Maynard James Keenan. Welcome to Puscifer, my creative subconscious. Welcome to the party that goes on in my head 24 hours a day. Welcome to my island of misfit ideas who’ve… Read More »Puscifer
A couple of articles just came across my desk thanks to Google. The first one is an article which speaks about a Tool fans journey to get a bottle of Maynard‘s Nagual de la Naga. The second is an interview with Maynard on Maximum Ink. Maynard talks about Tool, and various views he has on life. MAX INK: As a band, you go to such lengths to express a voice.… Read More »Maynard’s Wine, Interview
