Puscifer – features Maynard
Daniel emailed me a link to this interesting Maynard/Puscifer interview today:
Milla emailed me today to let me know that a couple more Autographed Puscifer posters from the Vegas shows are on Ebay. For those with short memories, these posters were sold at the shows with the price being $300 for a set of three.
This time courtesy of Amateur Chemist, who still had some money leftover after having lunch with Josh Freese. It’s a pretty cool review, and sounds like a good show all round, with Billy Howerdel and Josh Freese both making appearances, as well as the previously documented Danny Carey. Here’s a snippet: “Major Douche” made his usual appearance warning the audience “No flash photography or video was allowed!” I had heard… Read More »Yet Another Puscifer Review!
Patrick Surace has posted some awesome pictures from the recent LA Puscifer gigs up on his website. There are pics of the whole tribe, including Maynard, Danny, Tim Alexander, Milla and much much more. Well worth a visit!
Johnny Firecloud (presumably not the dude in jail who leaked Chinese Democracy) from Antiquiet posted an extensive review of the recent LA Puscifer gig, that’s well worth reading: Gil Sherone (of Stolen Babies & Dillinger Escape Plan) pulled back-up duty for Alexander throughout the night, laying backbeats over the rhythm and filling out the band’s sound. He turned the sticks over to Tool drummer Danny Carey, however, who played on… Read More »Antiquiet Puscifer Review
James emailed me today to let me know that Danny played with Puscifer in LA the other night. As with everything these days, it was captured in all it’s glory on a cheap camera and posted on Youtube! Thanks to decadence21 for posting it. There’s a few more videos from the night there too! Tiresias also emailed me his review of the show on the 4th: At the show last… Read More »Danny plays with Puscifer
And one final interview I’ve found, this time on Artist Direct. Â Questions and answers are along the same Puscifer lines as the last two posts. Â More confirmation of Texan gigs too. What’s next for Puscifer? We’ll probably record a few things, but most likely we’ll do a few dates around the country. We’re not really looking to go tour. We’re more focused on going in and doing almost like an… Read More »But Wait! There’s More….
LA Times has published the second interview with Maynard I’ve come across today.  The interview, conducted by Chris Barton talks mainly about Puscifer and the upcoming LA shows: How many dates are you playing with this? Oh, just these two. Then we’re going to probably do some Texas dates in June…. Rather than a band touring, this is going to be more like musical installations in places. We started off… Read More »LA Times interviews Maynard
inVINCEcible2k3 sent me an email today letting me know about a new Maynard interview he found by Jay Hathaway at the Suicide Girls. He talks about Puscifer, his wines and the music industry in general. No Tool information that I could see: JH: Can you go out on stage without thinking you’re the shit at least a little bit? Doesn’t it take some of that just to be in front… Read More »New MJK Interview with Suicide Girls
I stumble across this article this morning on SignOnSanDiego.com, talking about Humphrey’s Concerts by the Bay venue in San Diego, which mentions that: artists include Jackson Browne, LeAnn Rimes, Loggins & Messina, Carlos Mencia and Puscifer (Tool singer Maynard James Keenan), who will all be making their debuts at the intimate Shelter Island venue this year. No further info in the article that I could see, which focuses on the venues… Read More »Puscifer to play in San Diego?
