Mastodon, Signed Lateralus Vinyl, Music

Mastodon talk briefly about the tour with Tool on the AOL Music News Blog.  They also talk about appearing on the Conan O’Brien show.  Here’s the link. I received an email a few days ago from a TA member who is interested in obtaining a copy of the Signed Lateralus Vinyl.  They are obviously a little hesitant in purchasing over-priced, and potentially illegitimate items from Ebay.  Should anyone be wanting… Read More »Mastodon, Signed Lateralus Vinyl, Music

Maynard interview with IGN

IGN has posted an interesting interview with Maynard. Maynard chats about Puscifer, Wine making and how he sucks at video games. No Tool news for you one-eyed fans out there. Check it out here. …currently I’m working on several tracks. All with different sets of musicians and engineers. Lustmord will be involved. Tim Alexander has expressed interest. Possibly Brad Wilk, Tim C., and Jonny Polonsky may want to be involved… Read More »Maynard interview with IGN

Isis

Aaron from Isis has posted a whole stack of photos on their website covering the recent tour with Tool.  Plenty of good photos, and keep your eyes out for Tool members, “fake” tour buses and Diablo!  Thanks to Tommy on Toolarmy for the tip.

Tool Live Production Details

Kassel on Toolarmy has posted a link to an article which gives us some more insight into Tool‘s video and lighting show, as well as some of the logistics behind it: It’s hard to explain the depth of what goes into the production at a Tool concert to somebody who is not in our industry. Much like their music, the production is intelligent and progressive—the interplay of video and lighting… Read More »Tool Live Production Details

Puscifer Share’s the Love

Just as you’ve mortgaged your house to pay for the Platinum Lateralus, Maynard tells us that the Share The Love section on the Puscifer Website will contain some charity items being sold on Ebay. This will be the charity section of our shopping cart. Myself, relatives, and friends will be donating items to be auctioned on EBAY. The net proceeds of which will go to a charity of our choice.… Read More »Puscifer Share’s the Love

Isis Oceania Tour

According to Yaz on Toolarmy, Isis will be touring Japan in January 2007.  They will apparently be touring with These Arms Are Snakes and Boris while in Japan.  It is also rumoured that Isis will be touring Australia in February, though at this stage they have denied any reports that they will be playing with Tool.

Cancelled Show, Isis

According to Blabbermouth Tool have cancelled their upcoming show in Barcelona due to “logistical” reasons.  What do they mean by “logistical”?  My guess is either the bands equipment won’t arrive in time, or someone forgot to book the bands First Class airline tickets. Isis will be holding a launch party at the Cha-Cha Lounge in LA on the 30th of October.  According to Blair there will be give aways on… Read More »Cancelled Show, Isis

Back in Black

I arrived back home in sunny Yeppoon a few hours ago and though I’d drop you all a quick line letting you know that I’m back, and that Fourth Eye will resume it’s normal programming tomorrow.  That’s not to say Charred Remains did a bad job, in fact it looks like he’s done a pretty damn good one…. The honeymoon was awesome!  Jo and I saw plenty of amazing animals… Read More »Back in Black

Big Day Out announced, Mr and Mrs Hellboy

Tool have been confirmed for the Big Day Out, as announced in the official press release. Here’s their rather exaggerated and manipulative comment about Tool. BIG DAY OUT 2007 will host the heaviest modern metal experience of all, TOOL. After 15 years of breaking, shaking and earthquaking new musical ground, TOOL topped the charts in 2006 with their latest unique melding of art, prog and metal, 10,000 Days. With an… Read More »Big Day Out announced, Mr and Mrs Hellboy
