Chet Zar & Steve Niles in TOME Kickstarter

I spotted today on Twitter Chet Zar plugging a Kickstarter project entitled TOME which is apparently come kind of comic related project. Not only is Chet involved in the project, but so is fellow Adam collaborator Steve Niles (of 30 Days of Night fame). According to the blurb this years theme is Vampires, so if comics and vampires are your thing, then check it out!

Tomahawk – Oddfellows to be released Fall 2012

Ipecac Recordings have released a new teaser for the upcoming Tomahawk album, which appears to be called Oddfellows. The album, like every other one released these days will have Trevor Dunn playing bass and is set for a release in the fall of 2012. That would be the northern hemisphere fall for those who didn’t already work that out. Here’s the preview:

I woke up this morning to find that the first track from the forthcoming Melvins album Freak Puke streaming on the Spin website. It’s called Leon vs. The Revolution and sounds pretty good to me. This album features Trevor Dunn playing upright bass on all of that tracks rather than their typical 4-piece combo.
