Arrived!

You’ll all be happy to know, the Signed Lateralus Vinyl, DVD’s and my “Turn Off Your Television” shirt have all turned up. Everything’s as it should be, though sadly I got no special message from Adam on mine, just his sig. Hopefully I’ll get a chance to take some pictures on the weekend, or maybe later tonight for your viewing pleasure…..

Joe Barresi Engineer

According to Joe Barresi’s Management website , Joe is being credited with Engineering on the new Tool CD. No hints on a name or release date though, unless it’s called “forthcoming album”. Still no sign of either DVD’s or signed vinyl. Damn you Australia Post…. Toolshed has some scans up of the new DVD’s as well if you’re interested.

DVD’s in Australia

Nemesis has been doing some snooping around at some local (Australian) record stores, and it would appear that none of them have any idea regarding the Schism and Parabol(a) DVD’s. This would suggest that they’ll only be available via import only. If this is the case, either get the from Toolarmy or go and hassle one of your local record stores to get it imported. Most independant record stores (forget… Read More »DVD’s in Australia

The Laterauls Signed Vinyls seem to be arriving (in the US I’d gather), and Pris0n from Toolarmy has posted some pictures. Here they are for your viewing pleasure: Also, the Schism and Parabola DVD’s have shipped from TA as well. Hopefully Santa will fight off the Grinch and ensure that all these goodies arrive Down Under for Xmas.

Danny speaks

From a recent post on Blabbermouth, Danny says: TOOL drummer Danny Carey told Launch that while the new music was hard to describe, he thought fans would have no problem recognizing it. “All I can say is you should probably just look at the past TOOL records,” he said. “It’s just kind of the next stage of development. Some of the tunes are pretty heavy on this one. It’s still… Read More »Danny speaks

Shipped, Josh Freese

Just got confirmation from the guys at Tool Merchandising to say that the signed Lateralus vinyl has shipped. Who knows hoiw long it will take to reach Australia (let alone northern Queensland) but at least things are happening. APC’s Josh Freese is a busy man and it looks like he’s all over the place again. He’s currently filling in on drums for Nine Inch Nails after Alex Carapetis was sacked.… Read More »Shipped, Josh Freese

DVD’s Available, Vinyls to be sent.

The Parabol and Schism DVD’s are now available from the Toolarmy Bazaar. Check out the TA Specialty section. The cost $9.98 each. Also, Merchandise has confirmed that Signed Vinyls ordered during the chat will be sent on Monday, the later ones will follow shortly thereafter. Merry Xmas!

DVD’s also available on TA

Blair has made a couple of posts on TA. The first one suggests that the Tool DVD’s will be available on Friday to order from the Bazaar. This orders will be collected over the weekend and then shipped on the following Monday and Tuesday, so any Americans should recieve them before they hit the shops. Other people like me will have to wait a little longer I suppose, but I’d… Read More »DVD’s also available on TA

Australia Parabol/Parabola/Schism Release

  • Tool

Nemesis pointed out for me that Sanity.com.au have the new Tool DVD’s listed. They’re both around $16 and are actually imports of the US version (NTSC). Various people on Toolarmy have reported that the DVD’s are region coded (region 1 I think) which means those of you with Australian DVD players that use region 4, beware….. Here’s the links to the DVD’s in case you want to order them: Parabola… Read More »Australia Parabol/Parabola/Schism Release
