According to Yaz on Toolarmy, Tool are confirmed at the Summer Sonic Festival in Japan on the 12th and 13th of August. This certainly clashes with the previously rumoured Australian tour dates. Still is great news, since I very much doubt Tool would go to Japan and then not to Australia and New Zealand. The review of the new album on Total Rock seems to have been removed at request of the bands management. At least we now have a good idea that it’s legit. There’s plenty of copies of the review hovering around the net (including Toolarmy) for those with search abilities. I didn’t see nothin’ if you didn’t see nothin’.

Blair posted on Toolarmy today, that it’s higly likely that there will be more Signed Lateralus Vinyl. Not details as yet, but as soon a “Merch” knows, all will be revealed. He also revealed that he has interviewed someone (a band member – it’s all to cryptic for me) regarding the New CD, and will be sharing this information as soon as he can transfer it from his voice recorder.

Nemesis has been doing some snooping around at some local (Australian) record stores, and it would appear that none of them have any idea regarding the Schism and Parabol(a) DVD’s. The Laterauls Signed Vinyls seem to be arriving (in the US I’d gather), and Pris0n from Toolarmy has posted some pictures. Hopefully Santa will fight off the Grinch and ensure that all these goodies arrive Down Under for Xmas.
