Funny things are happening out at Toolarmy . OGT pointed out that certain pictures on the website have changed, many of whom believe somehow give clues as to the new CD’s release date (allegedly either 16.1.06 in the old, and 4.4.06 in the new). Details regarding a new book outlining the Tool and Alex Grey collabaration on Lateralus will soon be available. It sounds pretty cool and details can be found here. Toolband/Army mentions that Justin is currently away fishing, and will be preparing a journal for us all to read when he gets back.
Some pictures from Justin’s Birthday party have been posted on Toolband/Army with TA members getting a few bonus pics, including one of Danny sporting his helmet. For those non-TA members who want to take a look at them, I’m sure if you try hard enough you’ll find someone on the net who’s posted ’em.
Found on Toolarmy regarding the signed Lateralus Vinyl: They are not individually numbered. I believe that they are factory sealed, so my advice would be to get a re-sealable protective cover if you open it (and I’m sure many will open the album – those whose intent isn’t to put it on ebay). Blair has posted some final info the on Vinyl release. It will be Friday afternoon US/Arizona? time. If you need a little help translating times to your timezoe, use this little tool. I would imagine the vagueness around the time of release is deliberate in order to ‘randomise’ the process a little more. No time was announced, though Blair mentioned he’d try and get that information out to members before it happens. No other details were offered but presumably the cost will remain the same (US$100 + US$16 shipping to Australia) and that members will be limited to one each.
