This week I ask what you plan on doing for the rumoured Australian tour later this year. Considering that Tool were last here less than 12 months ago, and are touring on the back of an album some of you consider to be sub-standard, how many shows do you plan on seeing?
Auroboros from Toolarmy emailed me today, to tell me that his Mum tells him that Tool have been booked by Frontier Touring and will be playing in Melbourne on the 9th or 10th of December. The dates sound about right based on Maynard‘s comments earlier this year, but I guess we’ll have to wait and see as to how accurate this rumour is…..
Thanks to the Tool Hotline who tell me that Chicago band Russian Circles will be supporting Tool on the three UK dates on the upcoming tour. Sounds like they got the job because Isis, Pelican and These Arms Are Snakes weren’t available, that and Justin Chancellor seemed to like their music. Check out how they got the gig in this Drowned In Sound interview, then go and have a listen… Read More »Russian Circles to support Tool in UK
Toolband/Army are reporting that Tool are playing at the Apollo Theatre in Manchester on the 23rd of August. No word yet on whether or not Oasis are supporting…..

In the last couple… Read More »Renovations! Tool Stuff! New Stereoscopic pics! Puscifer Video!
According to Toolband/Army, Trey Gunn and Pat Mastelotto from King Crimson will be joining Tool on stage at the show in San Antonio, and then again in Corpus Christi. What a cool name for a town….. Also, it’s being reported that there’s going to be a second show in Hamilton on the 25th of June. No confirmation of that date just yet. Thanks to Dreadedhead1 of Toolarmy for the tip.… Read More »Trey & Pat from KC join Tool, More Hamilton? Tool Hotline Update
