^ comments like that are why I love coming to this place. Without turning this into a circle-jerk, I feel a sense of community here that most other forums/social media sites lack.

Re: All Re-Mixed Up Streaming & May Jay interview

I'm just gonna be shameless and plug my review of the album. I'm pretty much with you guys on this one. Aside from Carina and the Sir Mix-A-Lot track, this record is skippable.

Re: Puscifer

I'm reviewing the album for a magazine and got a full-album stream. Not sure how much I can say until the review is posted, but I can safely say that the Sir Mix-A-Lot remix is way better than you'd think.

Re: Nine Inch Nails

I feel like "Came Back Haunted' is a far better track live. I'm still warming up to it, but I feel like Hesitation Marks has a lot of potential.

It'll be worth it. NIN live is THIS close to being on Tool's level.

Yeah? I'm really excited, but I feel iffy shelling out that much to see any band. What should I expect from the typical NIN show?

Decided to buy myself a birthday gift and bought the new Dillinger Escape Plan album. I've never been into these guys, but the new album is actually really good. The title track in particular is great.

Oh man, 15 year old me tried so hard to get to this show. Thanks for posting, I'll have to give it a download! Kind of weird to remember there was a time when Tool played more than 11 songs a night.

<t>Both. I mainly use Spotify, but if I really admire an artist's work, or if Spotify simply doesn't have what I'm looking for, I'll just hit up YouTube or buy the album. To be fair, from what I know of reddit, this is a self post and those don't get karma.

I also find caring about imaginary internet points silly. But to each their own.

So the guy is a huge fan, has all Tool records as well as all records from Maynard's side projects, and yet he calls him, "James Maynard Kennan?" Sounds like what we Redditors call a karma whore. The timeline doesn't add up, nor does half the stuff the guy says.

Just watched Take This Waltz on Netflix. It's simultaneously beautiful and depressing as hell. Worth a watch, but if you're like me and have a deep-seated fear of infidelity, it may as well be a horror film.
