Re: New Album Touring

No. They played Intolerance, Sober, Swamp Song, and Flood at different periods during and after the 2006 tour.

This song gets stuck in my head all day long. Another song that is stuck in my head because of this song is "Here Come the Bastards".

Same. My sub is either breaking in or the voice coil is screwed after being generous with the volume for FI.

Re: Culling Voices

This is the best track to be put before 7empest and after Descending. I like how personal it is, especially after the comments Maynard made about signing 10k live. Wonder if they will perform this live for the same reason. I'd be shocked if this doesn't get played live. It's too good not to be play...

I've got to ask the question, does anyone relate to the lyrics?

I've always said quite proudly I'm paranoid by nature and sometimes this shit happens to me.
Yes, I do relate to the lyrics. Another reason why I love this song so much.

Re: Culling Voices

@Kittaan - Don't you dare point that fatty finger at me?

@Snazzle - This song fucks. Pneuma is a very close second. It's a tight race with all the songs at this moment. That's a wonderful thing.

Re: Culling Voices

Unpopular opinion I'm sure, but Culling Voices is probably my favorite song after 3 listens. I love the entire record, but THIS song grows every time I listen to it. The way Maynard sings "psychopathy" is ironically beautiful. It's the one song on the album that doesn't sound anything like any of th...

Re: Fear Inoculum with SPOILERS

I’m starting to tune out about halfway through each song. They’re too long. Need more Maynard, tighter direction, less jammy. The songs are missing that climactic release of tension. They set a theme, tease, and then gradually unwind and meander which can be creative in one sense, boring in another...

Re: Fear Inoculum with SPOILERS

Holy Mackerel. That was a 7ucking ride! I honestly was not expecting this record to sound so good. I went into this first listen completely blind. No live songs on Youtube, no single, no reviews. I was expecting a decent album on par with 10,000 Days. I was very wrong making that assumption. Every s...

Re: Random Tool Social Media thread

Whatup Busty, my man. I'm still holding out until Saturday. Two more days to go! I'm tempted to jam it tonight, but I want to have the day off to really take it all in. I will probably prelude with Lateralus and 10,000 Days. I'll be back next week. Miss you guys.
