Re: Chinese Democracy

Varietys the splice of life my friend. I love trying random new things but definitely get stuck in my ways when it comes to food and drinks. Shits me when I go to a to restaurant and try something different when I know I love a certain dish and the one I ordered turns out crap so just stick with Wha...

Re: Chinese Democracy

Boysenberry dark sour. That honestly does not sound like something I would enjoy... at all. How'd it go down? Used to love coopers red. Still a mighty fine drop I just barely touch it anymore. That's kinda the reason why, I drink green all night without carrying on like to big a fuckwit , where as r...

Re: Fear Inoculum (track)

Yeah dude I can see where you're coming from. It's a somewhat similar style Justin's playing to the fi verse and that change in the 39 min mark has a similar feel to the section in fi where Maynard sings Forfeit All control You poison You spectacle We'll never really know for sure, but as I say, can...

Re: The Grudge (WARNING: It Hapenned!!)

Going off the set list the last few years you'd have to assume you're a solid chance mate. I just hope if they go down that route they skip the pot in favour of Parabol. Would rather hear the whole piece than just the second half of it.

Yeah, i'm with you, 100%. It's the perfect closer & arguably their finest piece.
If it's just you and I in the conversation there's no argument about it. That song live is something special.

Re: The Grudge (WARNING: It Hapenned!!)

Yeah man I've made mention plenty of times on here how weird it's gonna be seeing tool live and not hearing Lateralus. I am very looking to seeing FI , since first listen I always felt it will be an amazing opener for them. But yeah, I'd take Lateralus over 7empest such is my love for the song. Watc...

Re: Tool Oz + NZ Feb 2020 Tour discussion

Welcome Mr awesome Metallica song with a mild variation in spelling! Why nervous? Tool don't really have a mosh crowd so ya won't get pushed around much or anything. It will get squishy if you try get right up front however. my advice is get as close to the squishy area as possible and where ya can ...

Re: New Album Touring (with SPOILERS!)

@busty, I really really really hate the term deep cuts. Har har Have seen : Sober Prison Sex Swamp Song Intolerance Live from Undertow. Flood would be the only addition I really really really like. And Opiate as the oldest song. Aside of maybe Sweat no interest in the other songs. Well now that I k...

Re: The Grudge (WARNING: It Hapenned!!)

Complaining about setlists is common among all bands really. There's no such thing as a setlist that suits everyone. I still think they should play more new stuff than "hits" (not sure I'd consider deep cuts from Opiate and Undertow hits though). I'll be disappointed if I don't get to see Fear Inoc...

Re: The Grudge (WARNING: It Hapenned!!)

Nailed it lads. I totally get their desire to hear certain songs and gripe in the bands setlists choice but to see so much ongoing pissing and moaning about it makes ya question if they get disappointed by many things in life coz of expectations. Before anyone says this is the grudge thread. Y'all m...

Re: New Album Touring (with SPOILERS!)

Damn Nx you saw sweat? Nice one. Sober is a beast live but can't say I love the delay effect Justin used last time i saw it. His bass tone is by far my favourite of any other bass player out there but the delay on sober took away some of the power a little I thought. If they play sober, ill still lo...
