Actually I am in NJ, and we havent had a show closeby in 10 years. I havent even been given a chance to 'line their pockets' since a couple years after 10k days released.

What exactly are the benefits of a 'secret' album release anyways? A surprise treat for the fans? When have Tool done anything for the fans? It's been 11 years since they've done anything relevant and although they have their die-hard fanbase, the casual fan has probably forgotten about and/or stop...

If I were a member of the band, and the album was finished or close to finished, and was planning an unannounced release......speculation is exactly what I would want to see on the internet. Are we playing right along with their game again?

I highly doubt the label makes money off of touring. Bands always make significantly more money from touring vs album sales....most of the album money goes to the label.

Call me optimistic, but I doubt its just another tour date. Blair has never posted info about a new date without THOROUGH details on how to get your money.....I mean......ticket on sale/presale/meet n greet info. This may very well likely be another tour date, but something is odd.

Nope, no complaints here about getting that setlist. As for the stops, I agree it will most likely be a northeast US short tour, maybe a couple Canada dates.

Please....let this be the mini-tour that is usually the precursor to an album release....

I have a couple of theories on the "move out of the Loft". Just theories. I haven't asked anyone about this, or been told anything. . The Loft is in Hollywood. It's exact location has become less of a secret over the years, and it often becomes a hangout for any number of tertiary people....
