Re: Random Tool Social Media thread

That gueikian Gibson lad said on Instagram, "This is just the beginning of a multi year partnership with Adam."

Almost a new Tool track.

I thought scalping posters was bad enough, I guess if you have the money why not? Cool to see how worn his guitar is.

Re: Random Tool Social Media thread

I've seen other comments around the traps of people ordering them through select custom shop dealers already. Bit of a shame it's not some sort of equal chance for everyone to get one, like all go online for sale at a set time... not that I can afford one.

Incredible band. Saw them a few times over the years. Their first show back from her 1st bout of cancer at The Tivoli in Brisbane is one of the best gigs I've ever been too. RIP Sharon.

Re: 2019 Fall Tour Posters

I’m curious as it seems like people buy up the posters to resell, but anyone at Brisbane or Melbourne get to pick one up? Got to Boondall just after 5, maybe 50 ppl lined up to get into the venue, let everyone in at 5:30, walk to merch maybe 40 ppl, I was about 10th in my line and got 2 unsigned in...

Re: New Album Touring (with SPOILERS!)

Yep, sang the whole song properly. Justin looked at/cued Jim (and Adam) on that part with some particularly large head nods. A 7empest question for those of you who attended the Brisbane show. Did Maynard sing the “Disputing Intentions”part? The Sydney version without it makes that part seam naked, ...

Re: New Album Touring (with SPOILERS!)

Great concert, easily the clearest and most evenly mixed I've heard them at Boondall. I was actually surprised how well you could hear Maynard who sang really well, killed Swamp Song which was cool to hear. “Hey Brisbane. Heard you've had a bit of flooding recently. Being so near the ocean and all, ...

Looks like we get that new sound rig. https://www.prosoundnetwork.com/live/tool-tours-with-intricate-immersive-sound Nobby originally planned to use the effects P.A. only on the initial U.S. leg following the album release, “but now we’re taking it everywhere,” he says, including the upcoming run in...

Re: Tool Oz + NZ Feb 2020 Tour discussion

I got on about 6 times it was pretty easy, just wait.
When it says they don't have 2 tickets, just keep clicking next, eventually 2 show up.
How the fark Gold Seating extends to the front half of the worst sections is beyond me.

In all honesty up front sucks. The sound will be muffled and views restricted given their stage production. Put me down for about 20 metres back from stage or so thanks
I agree but I've seen them about 10 times and never done floor front row.

Re: Tool Oz + NZ Feb 2020 Tour discussion

Anyone been to a 'rock' type concert at Brisbane Entertainment Centre lately? Does the floor have seats like it appears the US concerts do, or is standing/GA just a free-for-all like years gone by? I'm thinking of getting VIP tickets purely for good seats, but that can be fucked if any GA Standing j...

I would absolutely rule out an Adelaide show, don't blame them it's a shit hole. Unfortunately Brisbane still only has shitty old Boondall. Re: Random Tool Social Media thread

The Seppo sale was available the entire time they said it was open. So clearly they're gathering the pre-orders and will THEN make that amount. Hence 1 PM - 11:59 PM = 10 hours 59 minutes it will be available and WON'T "Sell out" during that time - no rush.
