Re: New Album Touring (with SPOILERS!)
The Portland show was excellent. Tempest was damn near flawless. Incredible. It has honestly been my least favorite track on the album but seeing it live was fucking awesome. Descending was a bit rough through the first half but came together nicely once it picked up. I can't stop thinking it's just...

Re: Ticket selling/buying thread
I've got 1 FRONT ROW ticket to the Eugene Oregon show this Thursday. Asking face value ($140). You will have the pleasure of sitting next to yours truly at no added cost.

"WHAT FUCKING BOUNDARIES DO YOU THINK YOU'VE PUSHED WITH THIS NEW MATERIAL AND WHAT THE HELL MAKES YOU THINK YA HAVEN'T REPEATED YOURSELVES???" First of all LOL Second... The age barrier for one. They just made the best geriatric rock album in history. They also pushed their own boundaries...

Re: The Grudge (WARNING: It Hapenned!!)
The greed and stupidity is staggering yet unsurprising. That said, I remember in 2007 buying front row floor seats right in front of AJ from a scalper for around $200 each. Face value was probably about $35-$40. Things have changed lol

Re: New Album Touring
If I were rich I would just buy bot programs and resell the damn tickets at cost. Actually it wouldn't cost that much, so I'm surprised people don't do this. Like for example, if there were a forum filled with fans of a particular band who have a hard time getting tickets.... either they could combi...

Re: New Album Touring
Can someone who has bought tickets through the Tool Army presales comment on what types of seating are usually offered and how often server crashes ruin everything ? Or is it usually worthwhile and only occasionally a disaster ?

Re: Fear Inoculum
You can still find an old LPC in the $1500-$2500 range if you really stalk them. Find one with minor issues and fix them or find someone desperate for money or doesnt quite know what they have (rare but it happens). I picked up an 81 black LPC in great shape for $2000 recently. Just needed a fret jo...

Re: Fear Inoculum
I took some acid and listened to Fear Inoculum a few times last night. Hearing and feeling that symphony of self-orbiting mind magick hovering in hyperspace... goddamn just fucking beautiful. I admit I was having a hard time with some of the vocals (especially their placement so far above the mix) b...
