Re: New Album Touring (with SPOILERS!)

I honestly suspect that some of these older staples are being kept in the rotation solely for their video accompaniment. Their shows have become so visually reliant over the past ten years I could see this being the reason some of the songs have stayed the same. With that said, I’m a little surprise...

He’s had the two mini wahs on his board for a couple tours now. I’d imagine this pedal will replicate this, plus some added distortion for good measure.

Yeah he’s working on a signature Dunlop Wah pedal. Wal is making him a new bass which will very closely replicate his main wal now. He doesn’t say it exactly, but sound like it’ll be his new touring bass. It’s going to be lighter and cancel out some unwanted feedback. Apparently it will randomly pi...

Re: Random Tool Social Media thread

I really thought they were going to do something virtual reality based this time. I remember they met with Alex grey around the governors ball and there was mention of it, but I can’t remember the source.

Anyone else read Justin’s interview in the new bass guitar magazine? Great stuff in there.

Re: Fear Inoculum

Took a few listens to get into it. Mainly I was caught up on the vocals, but I was too when I heard descending and invincible. Over the past 7 years or so we’ve been able to see how the band evolved their sound instrumentally with little bits and pieces of live jams. Meanwhile Maynard’s evolution ha...

Been lurking the site since 2013, first big topic I really remember was all the opiate reissue rumors and debate. Great job with the site Hellboy. What do you think of Blair’s mention of Rance Q. Spartley on their Facebook today? Perhaps some pre release shows? Really enjoying the new music
