Re: An open letter to Tool regarding concerts and presales

Awesome! I hope and am I sure that somebody in the Tool camp will at least give that a read. Tool is just so fucking lazy, and I am not even talking about the new album.

Re: Tool Summer 2017 Tour

Thank you Hellboy for the heads up of the maybe. I agree with most of what you said Mog except for the $500 VIP. I did it in Vegas and it was worth every penny for any Tool fan. Adam had his guitar around his neck most of the almost 2 hours he spoke with us. He played parts of 4 degrees, one of my f...

Re: Tool Summer 2017 Tour

I know some of us that live in Southern California are very spoiled to see Tool a lot in the last 11 years, but what are the chances of them playing here on this tour? I want to hear Schism live again for the 13th time since my first live show in 2006 Coachella. I kid, but if they are playing a Cali...

Re: Random Tool Social Media thread

I am not saying he should say fuck Trump in a song but a lot of good music have come from crazy political times. The 60's and 70's had a ton of good music because of war and government. Nothing happened in the 80's and that's why that decade sucks for music.

Re: Live Shows, Tours, etc.

Sooooooo, my friend decided to buy tickets to Radiohead in Miami, and he lives in Utah, haha. So he calls me up last week and tells me that his aunt who works for Royal Caribbean has her home port in Miami. We had been hooked up on a cruise from her back 10 years ago before I meet my ex-wife. So I a...

Re: Random Tool Social Media thread

I can understand some of your pessimism, but in my mind this huuuge and bigly. You guys are building emotional Tool walls and not getting your hopes up(SAD), but Blair just confirmed that Maynard is doing vocals for actual music. They have been saying once Maynard gets his mouth around music it's a ...

Re: A Perfect Circle Tour 2017

I would suggest to get seats instead of GA at The Pearl. The floor is slanted if I remember correctly and every seat is a great one in that place. Had GA for APC and had seats for Tool, both 2 night shows, and enjoyed the seats more. Now I enjoy Tool a little bit more than APC and also was super sic...

Re: A Perfect Circle Tour 2017

^About 2,500 capacity at The Pearl. Great small venue and certain seats you get a personal waiter for bar service. Could sell out just because it's smaller than most of the venues on this tour. There doesn't seem to be much enthusiasm for the Hollywood Bowl show because there are still plenty of tic...

Re: A Perfect Circle Tour 2017

^It looks to be Ticketmaster. The Pearl is a fantastic venue and I saw APC there back in 2010 when they did the Mer De Norms and 13th step each day tour. Also have seen Tool in that venue and they all were great. So back in 2010 my separated wife and I decided to get married in Vegas because it was ...

Re: Nine Inch Nails

Muahahaha^^^ I went for a drive the other day and listened to the whole thing in one sitting, not to hard to do, but really enjoyed it. Felt like a musical short story and it was kind of trippy. I may have had a hit off of special kind of vaper pen and so it really was kind of intense. I rate it 4/5...

Also why the hell is it politically correct just because it has a female lead? Is Alien/Aliens, Resident Evil, etc politically correct? It's the new thing to bitch about every goddamn movie that has a female lead. 90% plus, I would guess, of all movies are male led movies. So what's wrong with havin...

Hahahahaha. You guys are making me laugh. That newsletter was excatly what he said he didn't want, he feed the Trolls! By even acknowledging the negativity it feeds the trolls. Blair, it's the Internet in 2016, avoid all comment sections. Well at least we know there is a new album coming out.

Good little podcast with Maynard. He sounds very happy and it was good to hear that the grapes/wine have made music fun for him again.

Re: Random Tool Social Media thread

Again last night Seth Myers introduced Danny and said, "look for their new album coming out soon". Now I know I am taking this more serious then it really is but that's two nights in a row that he said it. I don't know if Danny is that good of a troll to have them say that every night he i...

I just wanted to vent about no news about the new album. This is ridiculous!! I haven't been bitching about it very much but the frustration just hit me today. I got my tickets to the Salt Lake City show and very excited to see them live again but I would love some new tunes for fucks sake.

^stoked for you Ettan! My advice is to enjoy the wrestling. I know it's not everybody's favorite thing but accept it and get into it and it makes the show a lot better. I personally grew up watching wrestling so I really got into it and booed and hissed and cheered the whole time.
