Surplus means the government taxed us too much, we need a balanced budget with a serviceable debt, just as people use credit cards and have a mortgage. A surplus means that you can start paying down the national debt or even, heaven forbid, invest in more infrastructure and hence job creation. Cred...

Just watched an eight year old kid wiping his tears away in a cage fighting ring, mid bout, after being kicked in the head. It's illegal in most US states apparently but not if you are on an Indian reservation.

I went and saw X Men Days of Future Past yesterday and I recommend it. The time travel story hung together well and presented the opportunity for the film makers to play with the 1970's which provided some nostalgia for me and a few giggles.
