Window is now open for someone to post a Classic album before I do OK. So.......what constitutes a "classic" in your book? Does it have to have been included in Rolling Stone's Big Book Of The Five Hundred Greatest Albums Of All Time As Voted By Us 55 Year Old Retard Music Journos Who Wea...

Re: Classic Album of the Week - Van Morrison - Astral Weeks

Great. Astral Weeks. The cornerstone of every goatee'd, 55 year old urban hippy's record collection. Way to be "creative" and spread the word on new and/or interesting music for your fellow forum members to discover. Why not review The Eagles Greatest Hits or Neil Diamond's Hot August Nigh...

Re: Fourtheye Listeners Club

Lost my train of thought. I don't remember what I was just doing. Oh wait...I smell pancakes. OK I'm g...

Re: Fourtheye Listeners Club

I'm seriously thinking of having GnR's Chinese Democracy as my next classic album of the week.

I love that album and I love that all the GnR loyalists hate it.

<takes long sip of coffee>

I'm not kidding when I say it's a four star (out of five) album!

Well rumour has it that Tool were all set to film their own adaptation of The Lord Of The Rings.

'cept that Maynard kept whining about being cast as Gollum and the whole thing went to ground.

Re: Random Tool Social Media thread

When the new Tool album finally drops in late November 2014 it will be the biggest anti climax in the world of entertainment since movie goers finally got to see Star Wars Episode 1 and watched in horror as George Lucas proceeded to take a giant, steaming dump all over their collective childhood mem...

Re: Random Music News

As much as I love Swans, I find them a difficult band to recommend. The uninitiated would do well to start with their latest stuff and venture backwards through their catalogue ONLY when and if they have the stomach for it.

Funnily enough, I'm a bigger SC3 fan than a SCG fan.

Though I do admit, without SCG there'd probably be NO SC3.

Yeah. I'm glad somebody picked up on the "Morricone" vibe. Alan Bishop of SCG put together a Morricone compilation on Patton's Ipecac label called Crime & Dissonance . That compilation has to be acquired. Do what you have to do to get it. Just get it. As for what else to pick up, it's ...
