Re: Tool Spring 2017 Tour (includes spoilers!)

Eulogy live is worth the full price of the ticket for me. Please Flying Spaghetti Monster have Tool play Eulogy for San Bernardino. That song and H are on the top of my live song wish list, with Prison Sex in a strong 3rd.

Re: Tool Spring 2017 Tour (includes spoilers!)

It is a very good setlist, but(hahaha there always is a but) I have seen this already and really wish that Maynard would switch it up a bit. I blame him because Adam has mentioned that May May chooses the setlists. Let's get Rosetta Stoned in place of Schism and Stinkfist. I would rather take that l...

Re: Tool Spring 2017 Tour

So lachrymologist is a badass and bought box seats for the San Bernardino show and has offered me the other ticket. Very stoked to be going to this show. I have been on the fence about going to this show for awhile now and lachrymologist made it happen. Thanks man! Nxrm I will keep in touch with ya ...

Re: Random Tool Social Media thread

Dude, if I didn't already have seats I'd totally go with you. There are those two tickets in Orchestra 2, Row K going for $365 each (a bit steep), but there are about 150 tickets up on StubHub throughout Orchestra 2 - starting at $200 each. Hate supporting scumbag scalpers, but sometimes that compr...

Re: New Tool Website

And it took how many years? Yeah still no new album so zero fucks given. Cute how on the front page they are trying to sell tickets to their greatest hits extravaganza. What a fucking joke Sorry man, but this post is the greatest hits of the Mog. I am not so interested in the new website because it...

Re: Random Tool Social Media thread

Fuck!!! Do I want to spend $400 on a 3rd row ticket. Out of all those bands I have only seen Tool and Primus live. Yes, I can buy a lawn ticket for $50, but that lawn holds 30k and I want to be close. More credit card debt might have to be the answer. Also going to a show by myself doesn't sound to ...

Re: Random Tool Social Media thread

Thanks nxrm for the info. Glad Danny is cool enough to talk to the fans and share a little info. Damn it though, I wish Danny didn't say last fall on the Late Show with Seth Myers, "that the album will be out soon." 2018 ain't soon even by glacial time.

Re: The Grudge (WARNING: Ten Years, Shmen Years)

Aaaaaaannnnnddddddd allow me do another bitch post. I went to The Baked Potato tonight and caught the first set of the Doug Webb Allstars. During the break I was fortunate to talk with Danny, and I asked him how high Tool fans must be to think the band would be releasing a new album prior to this up...

^hahaha, I will call this Tool shaming and I like it. Markuspoop, I didn't think the June gloom made it out that far. I am next to Oceanside so May and June are very comfortable. Let's hope we get a great June gloom day because I just had my first drink and I think you guys just talked me into it.

Re: Tool Spring 2017 Tour

I couldn't pull the trigger for the San Bernardino show. I might buy a ticket closer to the date, but I saw them 3 times last year and have been lucky enough to see them a handful of times since 2010 when they started to play a couple of deep tracks each show. I have only seen them live since 2006 s...

Re: APC Tour 2017 discussion (includes spoilers!)

I like the sound of Hourglass and I can't judge it by the YouTube version because I did that with Feathers, but the counting down lyrics of the song make it sound kind of goofy to me. Seeing Feathers live at the San Diego show changed my mind about my first listen on YouTube. 5 4 3 2 ........ what? ...

Re: A Perfect Circle Tour 2017

Found 7th row seats $130 for both in San Diego. Thanks credit card. Even though I am going to the Hollywood Bowl show, I can't not pass up APC with really good seats. Thought the posters are pretty damn cool from Vegas.

It's going to be hot as hell there in the end of June, but it's only a hour and a half away from where I live so I will be there if that's a tour date.

Re: Random Tool Social Media thread

I don't mean to be an asshole but I would say no cover band is good and not worth seeing. I don't mind cover bands of groups that no longer tour but when you can see the real thing it's just a goofy version of the real band. I have seen a good Led Zeppelin cover band but that's because I will never ...

Re: A Perfect Circle Tour 2017

I as well have tickets to Hollywood Bowl. I am going to take a look at the set list because I might have to go to the San Diego show as well. If they play a new song I am there, haha. They have cheap standing room tickets that are up in the back but still not a terrible spot.

Re: Tool Spring 2017 Tour

Yes, I think I personally know the source you are talking about and she informed me of the San Diego date back in 2014 because she saw Danny with Volto and he told her that they would be heading that way. So I believe her that Danny said the Anaheim date and if it doesn't happen I think it would be ...

Re: Random Tool Social Media thread

Man, Adam has to know that he is fucking with the hardcore fans that know they master their albums in Maine right? The post says they were shipped in and that means I don't think he is in Maine. That's my thoughts, but it could be a hint and it could be we are drooling so hard for a new album that w...

Re: Random Tool Social Media thread

I think it would be cool if they let the VIP's do a tour of the stage. Even if it was just a quick walk across it. I would never trust a fan of any band to walk past my equipment. On the soundcheck thing, I would hope the VIP's for this tour get the soundcheck songs. Like I have said in multiple th...

Re: What are you watching? Film/TV

Dave Chappelle's first new special, The Age of Spin, was hilarious and can't wait to watch the second one. He's back and just as funny as his old specials. Haven't been able to get thru a full hour of stand from many comedians lately. Their specials have been good but just couldn't watch it all in o...

Re: Random Tool Social Media thread

I don't know if this makes sense but does Tool make more money by going threw Ticketmaster/AXS? Would they lose money if they set aside seats for a pre-sale? I not saying they are some greedy heartless bastards but I don't think they would like to lose any money on ticket sales if they could help it...

I don't count it as 11 years. I would say 7 years and give them the benefit of touring hard for 4 years and then should have been fucking around with song ideas.

But but but they stole a handful of songs! Haha. Well I guess I am in a huge minority. I used to love Led Zeppelin and I do enjoy them but when I am listening to music in the car The Stones just hit the spot.

Re: Stones or Beatles?

I voted for Beatles, but they are so different I think and the real poll should be The Rolling Stones or Led Zeppelin. I might be alone with this but I totally think the The Stones have a better song line up than Zep.
