Re: Random Tool Social Media thread

From where i was standing Adam looked upset the whole gig. From his guitar not working at the start, and other technical shit going wrong, they all seemed a little off. This was defiantly in the lower half of the tool shows I've been to. you got a festival show... That was going to be my comment to...

Re: Random Tool Social Media thread

I imagine it would be like family. You drive each other nuts, your patience and tolerance toward them would be far less than others are extended but when it boils down to it you still love each other.

Re: Random Tool Social Media thread

I guess money talks. Or maybe they like the ego boost of playing in front of an audience. If they were touring Aus I would have gone but my preference would most definitely be they stayed in studio and finished the fucking album. 3rd thought... can't recall when the tour was announced but maybe they...

Re: LESSER KEY (Paul D'Amour)

I only just discovered this existed randomly on an article and figured there must be a thread on here. Am on 4th song now and enjoying it. Maybe not watching the film clip you've all hated on is helping or maybe because I'm a sucker for tasty bass lines which this ep has plenty of but Im digging. Th...

Re: Random Tool Social Media thread

As funny as that would be , when you consider APC and Pusciifer dont seem to drastically change their sets to much either id say unlikely.

Re: Random Tool Social Media thread

Would also be surprised but then again they may finally feel the need to at least offer something new if it's as looking likely to be same set essentially. And yep, removing Lateralus for the set has never sat well with me but if when they get to Aus I hear Eulogy in it's place I won't be complainin...

Re: Random Tool Social Media thread

Seeing Eulogy in there again gives me hope I may still get to witness it live one day.

EDIT: setlist is saying Opiate (re-recording video) wonder if that's legit.

Re: Random Tool Social Media thread

It really does seem like the logical progression for them. Plus with tried and tested universally agreed upon metaphor on previous page it would be silly for them not to spruik to that crowd.

Re: Random Tool Social Media thread

Fair enough, figured it was a new post but yeah considering the lack of official communication over the years, pretty weak effort.

Also I'm at burger urge at moment awaiting my Nashville burger. Just thought y'all should know

Re: Random Tool Social Media thread

Hey you started it with talk about walls being built and Kfc hot n spicy. Plus spicy food is kind of the perfect metaphor for Tool , not everyone likes it , those who don't kind of wonder what the hell all the fuss is about, yet those who are down - love it!

Did said diatribe contain the work disingenuous by any chance? I've just noticed has been a bit of a go to lately.

Also yeah 1 year sounds about right. Gonna be a hell of a day when it finally rolls around.

Re: APC - Eat the Elephant Reviews & Discussion

I don't mind Man Overboard , was more using that as a reference as to how out of place Hourglass sounds on this album which then impacts my ability to enjoy it. Just sticks out like a sore thumb to me and don't like what Maynard did with it

Re: APC - Eat the Elephant Reviews & Discussion

Yeah it's not so much that its a terrible song, I just don't dig Maynards contribution to it nor do I feel like it has any real connection to the rest of the album. Would have been better suited to Puscifer.
