Re: Random Tool Social Media thread

I get your point. I agree entirely but I just don't get any of the social media shit. To old for Twatter and Fuckbook. When I want to communicate with friends or family I call or visit. Anyway kind of a shame it got deleted. If you put something out there you should have to live with the repercussi...

Re: The Grudge (contains SPOILERS)

We all know this is NOT Moggies last goodbye. I almost went with Buckley for my AOTW, but I know many on here are already well familiar. One of my all time faves. No more grudging from me. I hate Tyson more than Tool though so bicker traffic is sure to pick up ;) And for the love of God never go wi...

Re: Australian politics thread

Well basically the program covered a lot of things, we freed the shit out of East Timor, not for egalitarian reasons, but for their resources and we spied the fuck them over in negotiations, all for commercial gains of private businesses. You can say it's to be expected, but I expect better from ou...

Re: Australian politics thread

Spying on Indonesia. You're an idiot. It was about spying on East Timor for commercial interests. Lol my mistake, I caught the headline and switched off half way through I guess. Again though why would it surprise anyone to know this happens? We also bribe other countries officials eg wheat board a...

Re: AOTW2 - BURIAL - "UNTRUE"

I didn't listen the whole way through because I'm not currently on pingers. In the hope that you may have contributed something cool to the conversation, I clicked on "Display Post". I think you need to read up on drug laws in South Korea. At no point have I ever listened to this album on...

Re: AOTW - H2H Week 2 - Oxbow - The Narcotic Story

I shall give it no score nor post a blow by blow, but I don't spend my time taking pictures either. I really enjoyed it. I'd never heard them before and I'd like to go to a gig. I didn't vote last time because truly I liked neither. I will this go around.:)

Re: QOTSA & NIN @ Rod Laver Arena-14 Mar-2014

Great review Pete, very comprehensive. Better Living Through Chemistry is one of their best tracks I wish we'd had it, in fact just something from Rated R would have been nice. A couple of days have now passed and the gig is still making me smile. That's the litmus test I reckon. it was certainly gr...

I'm so jealous especially your mention of great piano, but the QOTSA/NIN experience, and my playing up afterwards, took it out of me I was going nowhere. Excellent review!

Re: Questions for Adam

The whole VIP package concept makes me shudder. It's an exploitation of their fan base as far as I am concerned. The whole thing creeps me out. They play in that arena and they get burned then that's their issue.
