I was massive fan of deloused in crematorium and thats when I saw em on the BDO side stage in 2004 . I think it was like a 45 minute set so they played all of two, maybe 3 songs . I loved it but each album thereafter I lost interest and I imagine a full show wouldnt have been as impressive for me.

Thanks for playing Busty. You've got a number of bands in here I've never heard of (Dallas Frasca, Enemies Closer, Hilltop Hoods, Spiderbait). Right on! John Butler Trio must have been fun. How were Uncle and Wolfmother?

As for the Mars Volta, I saw them open for APC and really enjoyed the show but agree that it's definitely more of a live experience.

No problem ma man.

Yeah those bands you mentioned are all Aussie bands, with enemies closer being a local band i used play gigs with. Was all i could think of that started with E. Spiderbait you may know, they did a cover of black betty about 2003 that was pretty big? Other than that they never really had any success overseas.

Uncle and wolfmother were both at a big day out festival. Uncle was ok, didnt enjoy it as much and wolfmother was when they had just broken big and enjoyed em well enough at the time.

John butler is always a good show. Ocean on acid = bliss

@ Busty - My only time seeing Mars Volta live was opening for Soundgarden in 2011, for Noctourniquet. They were so damn good live. I'd never spent much time listening to their records. I've only seen 7 of your list live (APC, Baroness, Incubus, Puscifer, Rage, Tomahawk and MV), but so jealous about Cog. Would love to see them one day. Bummed that Rage was postponed this year, that would have been incredible to see them again. Hope it still happens.

@ Spoonman - but what he does with it is so much more important...

Kinda hoping with trump & everything else going on in the world Rage decide to use that free time writing instead. I'm sure they'd have plenty to say. As for Cog, perhaps a sojourn over the Aus for a Cog show and the orgy with Liz and the bloke that's being arranged could be an idea once this all blows over?

Great list Shed: Echo and The Bunnymen, Tom Petty, NIN, Rush, Soundgarden, Ted Nugent :D , Roger Waters!

I definitely had to spend some time remembering all the shows I'd been to in order to put my list together. I've got a friend that was able to make two complete lists without repeating any bands. I think Kittaan might be able to do that too. :D
