The path of the dates and places don't even make sense. CA > AZ > IL > NY with nothing in between?? Yeah right! Plus they just played San Fran and San Diego and AZ.

TOOL is infamous for announcing tour dates about 5-7 days before the tickets go onsale to get everyone in hyper mode. Cant remember the last time TOOL announced a tour 5 months out.

It's undoubtedly a fake. I've seen people posting on Palms FB page how much they'd love to see Palms open for Tool. Not surprised to see something like this floating around.

I just tried to find an announcement poster for their last tour and I can't find one. None of the concert posters used that font.

They used that logo on the big screen outside the arena in San Diego back a few months ago for the show. Dunno if that was just promoter/venue thing or if Tool had any say in it but I remember seeing it.

It was used on the VIP stuff, and on the announcement posters for the Aussie tour. I'm reasonably sure the US posters were more or less the same. Tool have never used it on one of their Adam Jones posters though as far as I can remember.

The text of the dates themselves in that image are kind of floating above the rest of the picture. Obviously fake, but it looks to me like they put very little effort into it.
