Tool feat. Taylor Swift - what about that?
If Metallica can do it with lady gaga , then sure... why not.

But fuck yeah they actually should, melt the faces of those industry fucks.

If TOOL and Taylor Swift did a song together it would get a lot of attention for both artists; I'm still surprised Metallica and Lady Gaga did that Moth Into Flame performance. If it's about ratings and brevity throughout the broadcast though, combining artists for one song is at least efficient.

TOOL have been a little more open/transparent in recent years so playing at the Grammys would be another step, particularly if their performance accompanies collection of an award or two...

I just hope Fear Inoculum (the song) or 7empest wins them something this time. That would be 4 straight albums featuring a Grammy award of some kind: Aenema, Schism (Best Metal Performance, 1998, 2002) and 10,000 Days (Best Recording Package, 2007)

The audience that would understand, though...would be chanting along with’Lipan Conjuring’ into the overhead mics.

Wow, saw them at Bonnaroo back in 2007 and there's no way I'm going back but hopefully we can get some more headlining dates in the midwest.

I wouldn't worry about it too much just yet. Considering they've done a full arena tour of America & now Australia, you would hope (assume) Europe gets the same treatment. Considering there's only two and a half weeks separating their last US shows to their first Aus shows, no reason they couldn't use the same principal and start an arena tour July through August, mixed with some festivals in between.

someone at one of the two Pigface shows Danny played at asked him about touring. i know its Danny and he means well but apparently he said europe and NA in the new year after Australia and this little run that starts in 2 days. if that helps. he did say NA in the summer but i got the feeling the Fall would make more sense but it depends how much they do i guess. being its a new album it seems right they would tour as much as possible. im sure it will happen

Nice! Europe again at both a combination of festivals and their own shows would be sweet. Looks like 2020 is going to a big year for the band... just hope the win a Grammy or two :)
