This is great. Good to see the chaps doing things and other collaborators like Dominic Hailstone getting involved
I can't remember if people knew already, but Dominic made a lot of clips for the new songs on the tour last year.

Junior! When are we going to get to see that Opiate video? I know you've got a copy of it at your place. No one here will tell.

All this gear talk got me re-watching the videos that Dunlop TV did with Frank (Adam's rig) and Chris Schlyer (Justin's rig).
Chris Schleyer first came to the Tool organization via APC. He was the guitar tech for James and Jeordie on the "13th Step" tour, and had auditioned for the spot that eventually went to Iha. Mat Mitchell was Billy's tech on that tour. Schleyer had been the guitar player in the band "Prick" in the 90's, as well as a few other bands.
Prior to the "10,000 Days" tour, "Frank" was teching for both Adam and Justin, as did previous guitar techs (including Billy Howerdel).
Schleyer was heavily involved in teching for APC and Puscifer for some time after, as well, and played in Carina Round's band on occasion during a Puscifer tour that she opened.
Maynard often inserted the word "Schleyer" into songs to wind him up. There are many occurrences of that on the "Stone and Echo" APC live DVD, and at least one on the "Puscifer...What Is?" DVD, and I'm sure some YouTube clips of all 3 bands.
Chris is currently a real estate agent in the Las Vegas area, and had been a tech for Katy Perry and Green Day in recent years.
Oh man, you don't know how long I've been trying to figure out the meaning behind those 'Schleyer' drops in certain APC and Puscifer live recordings during those tours. MJK really played that joke up A LOT. It's hard to listen to the normal recorded versions now without adding in the 'Schleyer' parts.
Thanks for the insight (again) Junior.
To reiterate what someone else said earlier, it really is great that you're part of this forum and contribute so frequently! Cheers buddy!

Someone should tell Danny that the pictures on the posts of his website don't work.

Looks more like a Brent Hinds model.
I wish I could share the story because it's hilarious, but unless something dramatic changed Brent Hinds will NEVER be working with Gibson again hahaha.

Absolutely right (of course).
Wonder why they'd flash that at the end of the video?
Truly sucks for those folks who were waiting for these to arrive.
I agree. That would really suck if you were waiting for one of these at Sweetwater.
What baffles me is these criminals that do this. What is someone going to do with 13 of these? Do these stupid ass thieves think they can sell these on Ebay or Reverb without getting caught?

Given how much they are, I suspect there will be plenty of Tool fans willing to buy them no questions asked.

Maybe the stolen guitars will be handed out as "gift for the fans"

yep, and honestly how much they were in the first place, i can kinda see why something like this happens. Not that i would ever do such a thing, No! but still. Kinda reminds me of when Geddy Lee had bass's made. One of the first things he said was he didnt want them all super fancy. He wanted them to be affordable for people. We know how Tool (or in this case,Adam) play the game with stuff at times. Im not surprised, thats all im saying.
