Maybe they'll reference the X-Files reunion or what about Twin Peaks. Faith No More is back too, they could write a song about that too, and Failure. This is easy, I don't see why it's taken Tool near on ten years to write an album.

Question: this is only speculation that there is some announcment right? possibly July 3rd... and this is based on the BMB hand drawn Tool gig Fan BBQ gig poster that was dated July 3rd, a few months back?
there is no "new" indication news is coming????....

Only thing that comes close is that Blair wrote that the newsletter posted will have more stuff added to it, which has yet to happen.

I'm going to follow Tool around as if they were the dead once they release the album. Do yoga in the parking lot and play acoustic covers. Put some curtains in the van. It's going to be fun.

SOME TOOL NEWS
In case you didn't read about it on all the metal magazine websites, the band had to cancel that fan's backyard barbecue/live performance YESTERDAY (JULY 3) because the kid had to seek emergency medical treatment the day before after blowing off part of his thumbs (yes, plural) while holding a lit firecracker (squib?) too damn long. Maybe the backyard gig will happen next year... if he learns his lesson and keeps his pyrotechnic endeavors limited to bang snaps! In the meantime, I hope all of you have a great and safe 4TH OF JULY with or without poppy seeds on your burger bun.
