That Brett Buchanan guy is a really big fucking TOOL. Everything he posts is other people's work. He also has a very punchworthy face!

Let us not forget that Danny also said that they plan to "hit the studio in the fall" way back in 2011 or 2012.

Wake me up in 2018 or 2019.

It blows my mind that Adam posting a picture of lobsters equals us getting a new album. The "evidence" they've used to connect the dots is just stupid.

Also, This was from 13 months ago, Justin "confirmed" the new double album in the fall. This wait is fun....Happy May, happy Tool return to the NE!

He wrote: "At this stage of the writing/arranging process... there are only a couple of 'shorter' songs left to complete (?), along with a segue or two or three." He added, "Of course, we need to keep in mind any changes that might be needed to accommodate the vocals, etc., once all of the arrangements are finished."

It'll be old news soon enough, as the next rumor is just around the corner. The announcement of the Special Guest should be a welcome diversion as well.

Last month, frontman Maynard James Keenan said "we've found common ground, we just can't move forward," in regards to new music. What that means, I do not know. But I do know that earlier today, the moderator of Tool's website posted an update, saying he visited the band's rehearsal loft and they are approaching the end of recording the music aspect:
