"Well it’s kinda funny cuz he actually reached out to me online probably a year ago almost now, maybe 9 months ago, and said “Hey. I wanna do a 50th birthday show with my favorite band. Would you guys get back together and do just a few songs at the show?” and I was like well it’s funny cuz we already are back together and we’re rehearsing for a show at the El Rey in February and so he was like “Whoa! That’s convenient. OK. Great!” When he figured that out he also suggested us for support for the Tool tour when that happened."
