Yeah, these "Official Platinum" seats with dynamic prices are one of the biggest scams on the fucking Earth. Patience is the key, though. I had some great seats right after they went on sale but I got greedy and kept waiting and waiting to see if anything closer came up and I finally go to check out and... they're gone. Some sort of error :x So I kept watching seats disappear and re-appear on the map. I must have tried to purchase about 15 different sets of tickets. I finally managed to get some pretty good lower level seats to Nashville about an hour after they went on sale.

@ fortysixand2 - Totally agree, it's an unconscionable scam - TicketBastard™ is a scalper, and it's so wrong.

Please check your TB account to make sure those mofos didn't actually complete the sale on some of those earlier error transactions. They got me with that on the last leg.

Why Tool can't make this easier on fans is beyond me. It's well within their ability, if they gave a shit, and would go a long way to build credibility.

A great pick for an opener. We'll see if they get him out for some contributions, that should be real interesting.

Agree it's a great opener, the last A&P album was excellent. Would be cool if he also got the Aussie slot.

"Scheduling conflict" (i.e. lack of ticket sales).

Bummer.

The third San Diego show (scheduled for January 13th) had a large number of tickets still available when I checked last week. Looked like half the seats had been sold.

Fair enough then I guess. I thought at the time three was probably one too many - would have been better off doubling up in Texas I reckon.

Bit of a dick move though, and pretty shit if that third night is the only one you're going to.

Massive dick move not to even say sorry or we regret to announce or just some kind of sign that they are empathetic to those that have missed out.

If it turns out it's due to poor sales then yeh That's proper fucked. Ya committed to it, you owe it to those that supported ya fuck ya!

Im sure Sydney will do ok. Might not sell out but bigger arena and there'll still be more than enough tix sold. Considering this is the first tour since 2000 that I'm not going to Sydney shows, if they play descending or eulogy there and not in Melbourne I may start throwing chairs . Just a heads up
