I've only listened to it a few times, so I wouldn't know.

I thought Jay was referring more to the "heavier, angsty" era.

Who cares, Reznor sucks now.
O love will you read the letters I will send to you.

If you're looking for Lord Byron when you're reading NIN lyrics, you're probably in the wrong place.

Those are also from an album released in 1994, written when he was in his mid twenties.

The point is that he hasn't been that way since that album. Whether you like NIN or not is irrelevant, but your facts are a bit skewed.

It's a good thing no one makes you post in every thread!

NIN is an act, just like KISS. The only stupid ones are the one's who buy into it.

That being said, I didn't mind the new NIN track. So there you go.

Ugh.

If by "interestng" you mean "terrible, like The Cure", I'd agree with you.

Came Back Haunted grew on me a bit but it's not something I wanna listen to over and over. Copy of a is a solid song and has been a great opener for the festival shows. the rest of the songs didn't really interest me too much. Then this comes out today and ... it sounds like some poppy 80's electo dance stuff.

if what's come out so far for Hesitation Marks is a combination of the best and most accessible songs, pretty sure I'm not gonna like it. Hopefully the arena tour kicks ass which I still have faith in.

Why did he release another song so quickly after Copy of A?

And that's a sub par NIN song, preceded by two average ones. I'm legit concerned about this album now.

"Copy Of A" was a legit NIN track, not sure what you're expecting Raven. Wish? don't hold your breasts..
Asteroids do not concern me, Admiral. I want that ship, not excuses.
