Thought it might be nice to have a place to discuss this as the 2010's wind down.

Post whatever lists you want, either Bands or Albums, or both. Links are a bonus.

The one thing I'd selfishly like to discover: your picks for those elusive 10/10 albums from this period, where every track speaks to you from start to finish... those albums that you feel the need to prosthelytize at every given opportunity.

The two that immediately come to mind for me, both coincidentally from 2016, but I'll add more as they come to me:

Bowie's Blackstar

Radiohead's A Moon Shaped Pool

Happy Merry.

To Pimp a Butterfly, Like Clockwork, and Blackstar were the top of the echelon albums for me.

Pretty damn hard to say. I wouldn't say these are the best 10 albums of the decade, but more the 10 albums that most defined my decade (off top off my head) and that hold memories of special times or important moments throughout the last 10 year's.

Tool - Fear Inoculum
Baroness - Yellow & Green
Xavier rudd - spirit bird
Six 60 - Gold
Soundgarden - Kjng animal
Meniscus- refractions
John Garcia - self titled
Puscifer- Money shot
Clutch - Earth rocker
Metallica- Hardwired

That's because you've never experienced Xavier live my friend. Hippy he may be but I'd put him up against most live acts as one of the best in the business.

And Y&G is an outstanding album. Plus as I say, the albums th at defined my decade. Y & G and I have been through plenty together.

I'll give Xavier a go but Baroness are one of the bands that don't quite cut and never will!

I understand it's hard to put ones mind to remembering a decade but you would think that someone inviting said discussion on said topic would at the very least offer their own ideas on the subject, not just a few but a full list.
