Re-listening to my beautiful dark twisted fantasy, it is streets ahead of this album and is a fucking classic album in it's own right.
The new album is great, don't get me wrong, but it's like he's taking a step back ready to take a huge step forward.
Who the fuck knows what Kanye is thinking.

I'm of the opinion that Kanye is a genius - and even he doesn't realise it.

That's kinda funny you would say that. Kanye was just on Jimmy Kimmel where he told Jimmy that he is a creative genius. They re-aired it last night, so I just watched it. Pretty interesting.

If you watched that part of the interview, it's pretty clear that he means it. Depending on your definition of the word, he may even be right.

Was never a fan of his music before, and definitely not a fan of his arrogant antics, but I like the cd. Don't listen to much hip hop outside of a bar but it's found its way into my commute playlist.
