Yeah, I'm not expecting much more this time around, but if there is more touring in the future I'd hope to see us get included (I suspect they're trying to gauge interest with this short tour).

Just throwing it out there that I am pretty bloody pleased with this news. I imagine you're right Hboy with the gauging of interest with a mini tour, with more regional shows to come later in the year or early 2017. Still couldn't help but buy a ticket to brizzie show though. Been hoping for this for a long time.

They'd have to be pretty happy with themselves after a 5 year hiatus. Melbourne & Sydney sold out within hours. Not a bad effort for a local band that never really cracked it overseas.

I wonder what happened to The Occupants (or whatever it was called?). I guess the guys in the band found the music as uninspiring as I did...

HBD Liz.

I would absolutely go see Cog if they make it to the US. Excellent band. While the Occupants was a far cry, I was liking what I heard. Maybe they'll open for themselves. Loulz.

Damn and I wasn't even invited to the wake!

I was referring to C&C for my birthday gig (we take what we can get in Adelaide) but yes I have been thinking logistically of making a Cog gig. It's weird I just put them on for my kid and his mates on Saturday.

I'll be going to see High On Fire, not sure I like BTBAM enough to see them this time around. I'd like to se Chon though. Being a Friday night is a problem for me too.

Apparently Cog will have tickets on sale tomorrow for an Adelaide gig in September at HQ.

That's what my sister_in_law tells me. She is pretty reliable.

I wonder if Sleep makes waves are supporting whole tour or just these shows.. no mention of them on any of the other announcements.

Am glad you guys got yourselves some shows down your way. Am flying to brizzie to see em but hopefully theyll head up FNQ in next 12 months or so.

The whole tour from what I could see on Facebook. Not a bad support act.

Yep just saw the updated gig flyer and they're on there too. Bonus! Missed the tour they played together about 8 years ago but heard great things.

Most looking forward to this show, they always did deliver the goods live. Hoping they ease up on sharing space material coz they sure did flog it in their final years.

I'm not so bothered what they play - I've never been a massive fan of their recorded material, some I find a little bland. But each time I've seen them live they've been great though, so hopefully they haven't lost much over the break.

The New Normal as an album took a few years to truly grow on me but snuck into one of my fav albums of all time. Really love that album as a whole. Just Visiting eps dont do the songs justice at all compared to their live versions. Im guessing you never saw them live back in those days?

Both times I saw them were a little late in their previous career from memory. Once was at the Big Day Out, other was I think on one of their last tours.

Figured as much. They were still great in those last few years but had lost that spark a bit, especially with their last album. Set lists just didn't seem to flow as well. Earlier on in their career when they were playing just visiting & then the new normal are some of the most memorable gigs ive ever seen.

^ I will put them on my shit list.

Great gig last night. Pushed ourselves out the door but as often happens our moods were transformed.

Really impressed with CHON. I always prepare for boredom when I hear "instrumental". These guys held my attention with quite a laid back jazz/prog sound for want of a better description. Really young band so they will get even better. Classy outfit.

Between The Buried And Me gave again. Love how they mix it up. A band I will keep going to see.
