Sleep support acts announced:
life is noise is pleased to announce the support bands for Sleep’s upcoming Australian tour – which includes Hard-Ons in Sydney!

Joining stoner-doom legends Sleep in Melbourne for the first (sold-out) show at the Corner Hotel on December 6, is transcendental, prog-doom metallers, HORSEHUNTER – who recently released the crushingly-heavy album, ‘Caged In Flesh’ to rave reviews. Also gracing the stage with her experimental guitar soundscapes is the hypnotic BONNIE MERCER.

For the second Melbourne show at the Corner on December 7 comes rock’n’roll four-piece, MAMMOTH MAMMOTH. With their AC/DC meets Sabbath posturing - expect riffage! Opening up proceedings is instrumental noise-rock duo, HOTEL WRECKING CITY TRADERS. Get set for their usual ear-crushing volume and some new tripped-out psychedelica.

At The Bakery in Perth on December 8, psych-rock five-piece, MT. MOUNTAIN will dish up some outstanding feedback and fuzz – having recently morphed into one of Perth’s best live acts. Also warming the stage will be dream-doom-stoner-rock trio, PUCK – who’ve just been nominated for best heavy act at next month’s WAMi Awards.

From the dark corners of Adelaide, self-proclaimed “filthy rock'n'roll parasites” HYDROMEDUSA will cause havoc at Fowler’s Live on December 9 and the new incarnation of IRON WORZEL will give us a taste of their heavy punk-metal.

At Crowbar in Brisbane on December 11, evil doom heathens FROWN have been summoned to play tracks off their new LP, ‘The Greatest Gift To Give’, which is out next month. Their brother in metal - sludge merchant, GOLDEN BATS aka Geordie Stafford, will bring along his riffs for the ride.

And in Sydney, it’s last, but certainly not least, given punk-rock-thrash-metal legends, the HARD-ONS are joining Sleep at the Manning Bar on December 13. They turned 30 earlier this year, which was celebrated by assaulting venues around Oz and then Europe, where they only played songs spanning 1984-1993. Who knows what these misfits have in store for this rare show?
Pretty happy with the Adelaide supports, both great bands. Hard-Ons playing in Sydney is a pretty good deal as well!

Metal Injection is streaming KnotFest for anybody that's interested. I don't really remember the lineup but I think there were at least a few bands that might be worth watching. I saw Carcass were playing earlier.

I'm curious as well. Do she entertain the notion that she's a DJ or some shit?

She's been a musician for quite awhile.

Are you guys assuming just because she's an ex porn star or a girl she doesn't have any other talents?

She's a guest vocalist on X-TG's Desertshore album.

Youtube it, however you're not really missing much, tbh.

Apparently she was shagging David Tibet for a while.

Yeah, that's my assumption and there's not much evidence about to claim anything to the contrary.

There's plenty of evidence to say she works hard. There's very little to actually suggest she's any good.

I know right, because it's really hard for a celebrity to get work...
