I wouldn't be surprised if put Slash's agreement to do this tour would be that the shows would have to start on time.

Wouldn't surprise me. I read his bio and he said that the lateness was a huge bummer for him (it was all Axl). Playing outdoor stadium shows this time around, and for the most part they just couldn't get away with being late I suspect. I know here in Adelaide at least there is a pretty strict curfew for outdoor concerts.

Seeing Ween tonight for the first time in SF. Our old pal Bobage is in town and hooked me up with a ticket. Looking forward to it.

well I certainly hope you gave him a nice pat on the ass for me ... and furthermore, ensured he knew it was from me!

Saw Ween in LA the night before they made the trek up to SF. This was my second (or possibly third) time seeing them. Always a fun time.

Highlights were "Woman and Man," "Buckingham Green," "Don't Get 2 Close (2 My Fantasy)," and "The Mollusk."

I caught The Appleseed Cast and Caspian tour at the Teragram Ballroom in LA tonight. I know the year's not over, but I'm gonna go ahead and say this was the best show of 2016. Both bands were incredible.

They've got a few shows left in November throughout the US and Canada. They're headed up to San Francisco tomorrow.

Definitely go if you have a chance.

Live Shows, Tours, etc.

Hey Norm. Damn, sounds interesting. I'll be at the Rush movie simulcast Thursday. Then I have Steven Wilson on Friday.

Ween was quite enjoyable, by the way. I will go see them again for sure. Missed your post earlier.

I've always heard good things about Ween live performances, but never got around to seeing them here. Maybe one day if they come back.

I'm a relatively new fan of The Appleseed Cast, which is what prompted me to check out the show. I don't know that I'd ever listened to Caspian before buying a ticket to the show a couple months back, but their newest album 'Dust & Disquiet' really grew on me. I was at the front of the stage last night, and thankfully had ear plugs...just a massive sound coming from those guys.

You've definitely got the shows lined up too. :)

Glad to hear you enjoyed the Ween show. They have quite a varied catalog of tunes and looking at the SF sets it looks like they mixed it up both nights.

The Rush movie was a very emotional experience for me. Worth a viewing for any fan of the band. Not sure when it's being released wide

Norm! If you have tonight open, try to get a ticket for Steven Wilson in LA. Amazing show last night in SF. They will also have an Israeli singer with them for tonight's show, which I would have loved. She is incredible.

Ah, sorry to have missed this. I actually just got home from seeing This Will Destroy You tonight. Thanks for the recommendation, and I'll be sure to keep my eyes open for future Wilson shows.
