Slipknot is comprised of questionable individuals who use gimmicks to promote their art. Having said that, I think their music is fucking wicked, and I don't care much else about what kind of people they are. Sure they're egotistical ass holes, but that's nothing new. Look at Metallica or Smashing Pumpkins. I'm hyped for this new album, and hopefully I'll see them live soon.

Grinspoon fans are usually just casual music listeners who only like to what Triple M tell them too. Clueless bogans they may be, but they tend not to make a nuisance of themselves, so don't rate highly on my "annoying fans" scale.

Bad time to mention I still dig the grinners?? Their guide to better living reunion show was fan fucking tactic and that album still holds up well.

True, Corey might be the bigger asshole, and he may have committed some crimes. But I'm still gonna listen to Slipknot's music. Hell, I listen to gangster rap, where the artists literally brag about murdering other artists.

I did come across some cool eastern sounding music once, highly inspired by Biddhism. Then I found out the artist was convicted of raping children. I couldn't bring myself to listen to that stuff anymore.

Yeh fair call. Hell I'll still check em out supporting Metallica later this year and no doubt enjoy myself. He could after all be completely innocent in this as well.

Can't say I've enjoyed anything from them the past 15 years, I lost all respect when they replaced Paul and hid him offstage out of 'respect to Paul'.. but i did dig the shit out of their first 3 albums back in the day.
