And I am one of em. I buy all my music digitally from Amazon but I also pay for Apple Music. I prefer ITunes and Apple Music functionality but I am not gonna buy another copy of everything I have already purchased on Amazon. Can’t be bothered to upload my entire library into ITunes either. Apple Music is an easy solution.

Exclusive to Vivid LIVE, alternative British rock legends The Cure will bring their magisterial, slow-burn masterpiece Disintegration to the Opera House Concert Hall for five shows to mark the 30th anniversary of their career-defining epic. This is the world premiere of these 30th anniversary performances, and their only Australian engagement.

The Cure will perform Disintegration in full on 30 May 2019. The concert will commence at:

8pm AEST – Sydney, Melbourne
11am BST – London, Dublin, Lisbon
6am EDT – New York
3am PDT – Los Angeles

The live stream will be directed by British filmmaker Nick Wickham, a close collaborator of The Cure’s who is known for his work with Iggy Pop, Joe Cocker, Annie Lennox and Madonna. The stream will be available to view on-demand for a period of time after this date.

"Today marks 30 years since the release of the disintegration album - and we are very pleased to announce to cure fans around the world that we will be global live streaming our final performance from the Sydney Opera House on 30th May, where we will be playing the album in its entirety - plus extras! - at Vivid LIVE. We look forward to celebrating the anniversary of this special album with you all...
...And remember: this album was mixed to be played loud… so turn it up!"

— Robert Smith, 2 May 2019.

Our fourth studio album, “You Know What…?” is complete! This might just be our most ambitious release yet. During the writing and recording of this album we feel like we inspired each other as songwriters and musicians to do things we’ve never done before as a band. Yet still, it’s totally, completely an Aristocrats album. We think it may be the coolest thing we’ve done yet and we can’t wait for you to hear it! “You Know What…?” will be released on June 28th, with pre-sales available in early June. And continuing our Aristocratic tradition of illustrated artwork, Graphic Artist Hajo Müller has created this awesome cover art for us. We’ll be sharing some audio clips and other details with you all very soon. And if any of our North American fans would like to see us perform these songs on stage then just check out Bands In Town to see our extensive list of summer shows. See you on the road!

I never planned on buying the physical release. All I cared about was the digital remaster, which like the physical release looked to be dead. Nice to see it will be available again.
