Go The Hack would be their best album.  Self Totalled not far behind.  To be fair, if you've heard one album of theirs, you've pretty much heard them all.

Of course Vivian Campbell didn't make it, they'd never let a chick win a competition like this. I'm surprised they even nominated her.

Surprised to see Adam winning actually.  Slash is a much better guitar player, and in my opinion is the best still remaining in the poll.

Yep, his tone and riffwriting ablility is right up there, but on a technical level not even close to 80% of that list.  Not to say he's a shit guitar player, but we're talking about the cream of the crop here.

Absolutely. Big difference between your favourite guitarist and the "best", in whatever category you choose. And, for what it's worth, Jones is and has always been my favourite guitarist.

But Jimi is the best, with nods to Dimebag, Belew, and Fripp.

 

How in the fuck is Tosin Abasi not on that list?  Tosin can play circles around most of the guys on that list.  And they left Fripp out?  What in the fucking fuck?????  Robert Fripp is Jesus on the guitar.

 

And Adam fucking Jones in the "Shredder" region?  bwhahahahahahaahaha

I've yet to hear him "shred". The moment he does, however, I'll be out.

I don't do TOOL for "shreddin'", if you get what I'm sayin'.

New album due in October.  I'm looking forward to it.  Pretty cool artwork imo.
