Fair call. I did enjoy most of that album back in the day and could still listen and enjoy some of those songs today but not front to back of album. No other album really did much for me from them.

Fair enough, I have fond memories of getting drunk to the first two albums with mates back in the day (and one crazy fucking night in Sydney seeing them live and the night out in Kings Cross that happened after) and I used to fall asleep to Delìrium Còrdia a lot.

Never got into Suspended Animation, I thought they were doing an acoustic album but maybe they realised how retarded that sounded.

Fantamos is one of my favourite bands and probably my favourite Patton project truth be told.

Which fantomas gig was that ? Geek show ? Or the directors cut at city live or first album at metro? I went to all three despite not loving the albums and having a cracking time at all of em.

The first album was such a disappointment for me. I saw the album cover and saw Patton, Lombardo, buzz and Dunn and was expecting to have my mind blown. Was tight and very original but compared to fnm and bungle wasn't a patch for me.

Experiment in terror is a stunningly beautiful song though. Wish they did more songs in that kinda vein. O guess I just like my Patton singing for the most part, not just making random sounds to short songs.

City Live at fox studios! Fuck me if I can find any info online about that place.

Also went to the show at the Enmore in 2005 where the opening act got more air time than Fantomas with the crowd getting pissed off.

Yeah I was trying to find info on city live too when I was seeing Cog at max watts last year thinking it may be the same place. Nope.

I was at that city live gig too, was a great show. The first album tour at metro was my first Patton gig, so was most enjoyable . Moved to cairns start of 04 so never saw em again.

I remember going to the Geek tour show in Brisbane. Was a fun gig, but I remember that Fantomas (who were on first from memory) left the stage with wail of abrasive feedback that kinda cooked my ears for the rest of the night/week.

As a result I have fonder memories of the headline Fantomas and Tomahawk shows I saw on previous tours. The Tomahawk show at Soundwave was ok at best, so I guess kinda in line with Oddfellows.

Shit yeh Tyson!! Awesome result in the end !!

Yeh hboy tomahawk Soundwave was kinda flat but was a pretty shit time of day on main stage in Sydney so not really suited for them I thought.

I remember geek show Patton stayed on stage and just made random sounds for what felt like half an hour

Just loaded up some FNM on Tidal and there is a 2016 remaster of Album of the Year?

Who asked for that?

Sounds pretty good though.

I noted that on Google Play recently as well. Personally I can't hear much difference, but I haven't really listened to them side by side.

As with almost every remaster ever from the 80's & 90's 'Slightly punchier with more pronounced bass'

It's a co headliner though, so one night it might be Korn last and the next FNM.

Wow, you're right. I was under the impression it was Korn's tour.

I'll bet it's not "new" music though.

No huge surprises here - they are re-recording their old demo, plus a few extras:

https://www.revolvermag.com/music/mr-bu ... ort-part-1
Mr. Bungle have given Revolver the exclusive news that they're re-recording The Raging Wrath of the Easter Bunny, along with the aforementioned covers and three previously un-recorded songs from their days as teenage metalheads growing up in Eureka, California
