I listened to every one of the A'sOTW, and you lazy gits can't pull yourselves away from gossiping about Adams baby to listen to this weeks album? Jeez, I thought you guys actually liked to hear different music and were excited about the AOTW concept.

@ Crow - I agree, this experiment has gone better than I anticipated.  And I have to say, Tyson gets my vote for the best pick to date - I base that purely on him introducing me to an artist I had never even heard OF let alone heard (Crippled Black Phoenix).  And I have listened to that shit more than once.  May even send some money their way.  But do me a favor, don't mention it to him.  He's such an ass, I know he'll find some way to make me regret saying it.

I didn't want to mention it earlier, because it's quite obvious that I enjoy the smell of his penis, but I agree wholeheartedly.

How that album and band had slipped through my fingers is beyond me.

Very happy to see RIVERSIDE pop up. Not sure who it was, but I thank you for giving a nod to a really underrated album.

Pretty upset, in all honesty, that Mog picked "BLACK ONE". I was looking forward to something a little "out there". I've lost touch with the post-metal scene (besides the allmighty and indisputable kings: NEUROSIS). Still, the brother has great taste - that album is a fucking masterpiece, and one that I think wasn't appreciated by most of the regulars here.

In all honesty, I was absolutely amazed that my pick got as many nods and considerations that it did. I expected instantly to be branded a "fag", and I was well-prepared. The eclectic and all-encompassing nature that the members of this forum hold is something quite remarkable. I've grown to love and respect most of the members here, and it's pretty much for that reason.

Great success, and one that I hope we can keep going. We all have the odd album that we would love to share with the world. Go nuts.

PS: Were you to meet Tyson, you'd be devastated over how charming, kind, peaceful, and beautiful he is. He would buy you several beers.

And yea, aside from my perfection, I agree that Tyson's pick was my favorite. I didn't give it a higher rating because it does drag at times. But when its going, damn does it GO. (Tracks 7 and 8 for example, are phenomenal)
