The good news is that David Duchovny and GIllian Anderson have both done pretty well since the X-Files, so they still have some credibility and presence. Good to hear that most of the original cast are on board as well, though no Robert Patrick.

I've been watching The Fall recently, an Irish Police Drama with GIllian Anderson in it, and it's quite good.

Yes It's excellent, the break through role for Jamie Dornan who won the role of Christian Grey from that performance I expect.

Gillian Anderson's schedule is really filling up now between The Fall season 3, Hannibal season 3, and The X-Files.

I had to look all of them up, but these are the only episodes of the X-Files I've ever seen:

1. Darkness Falls (Season 1, episode 20)
2. Home (Season 4, episode 2)
3. Drive (Season 6, episode 2)
4. Arcadia (Season 6, episode 15)
5. How the Ghosts Stole Christmas (Season 6, episode 6)

I recall seeing part of an episode with Robert Patrick and I may have seen one of the movies, but I have no recollection of what happened in either.

I did enjoy all of the episodes I saw, but just never really became a fan of the series.

I also read the X-Files/30 Days of Night comic. I thought the story was alright, but the art wasn't all that great.

Arcadia was the first episode I ever watched. I caught it on Sci-Fi one night at like one in the morning.

Darkness Falls from the first season was definitely the first episode I ever saw, followed by Drive and then Arcadia. I remember Arcadia reminding me a lot of a Twilight Zone episode, which I loved.

I think my favorite of the ones I've seen is still How the Ghosts Stole Christmas. I like that it was a stand alone episode, where you didn't need to know any of the back story (which was quite a bit at that point).

A friend of mine who was a big fan of the series and trying to convince me to go back and watch all of them told me to check out Home. That one actually turned me off of the series. Such a freaky episode, and it still creeps me out thinking about it.

I guess there's something to be said for how memorable the episodes were.
