I thought the trailer was awesome. I love the idea of a Star Wars war movie. Surprised NYHC has been absent...

Seems there's some "teething problems*" with the new Star Wars spin off.

*apparently what was shown was a steaming, incomprehensible mess.

Cant say it excites me like TFA preview did but hopefully it's more due to a poorly constrcured preview than the actual movie itself

Yeah, it's Star Wars so I enjoyed it, but I didn't think it was great.

I think this looks really awesome... After the gloss wore off Force Awakens (and I was giddy as) it feels pretty weak and a little disappointing, compared to where they could have gone. I watched all of Mr Plinkett's review the other day and I feel as though he nails it again. Except Plinkett was none to keen for the side stories etc, whereas I feel this new film will be awesome, I love the fact that it introduces an entire suite of new characters and there back stories. The previews have all looked a little more harsh. I am hoping this is how the movie comes across....

Im excited to see the direction that this film goes.. Could be a really gritty war style movie. Or a standard Star Wars film.

Well I hope it turns out to be better than the trailer, as there's not much in it that excites me.

It's SO GENERIC looking!! So cardboard cutout. So pious and self serving. It's like this shit was written by a bunch of 17 year olds in social studies class.

And enough already with the poorly under written, pasty faced "strong" female protagonist types who all talk like they're auditioning for their high school's rendition of Hamlet. Go be politically correct somewhere else. Concentrate of writing decent scripts for once and less sucking up to carefully selected demographics.

I thought Rey was a very good character, I didn't feel it was underwritten at all. But opinions right...

I have no opinion on the "political correctness" of female characters in movies. If the character is a good one, I couldn't give a flying fuck.

Also why the hell is it politically correct just because it has a female lead? Is Alien/Aliens, Resident Evil, etc politically correct? It's the new thing to bitch about every goddamn movie that has a female lead. 90% plus, I would guess, of all movies are male led movies. So what's wrong with having some powerful laaaaaaadddddieessss in a fucking movie!

Anyways new trailer makes me more stoked to see this movie. Me being excited to see this movie in no way makes my previous paragraph void. Hahaha. I am just tired of SJW'S and the people that bitch about the very small group of crazy, over sensitive, and recreationally outraged people that bitch on the internet. Of course there is going to be that guy that hates me bitching about the bitching. New Star Wars!!! Hype, hype, and super hype!
