If people would not go and they won't make money, well, then there will be less sequels etc.

Not necessarily... I think people want entertainment and go to these half baked sequels and big budget flops because that is all that is out there at times. If lower budget films got even 10% of the theater space as these shit films get then the world would be a better place.

Big budget action films probably make up 50% of the showing times at cinemas if that.

As someone who studied sociology, I love the fact that old media still have the potential to create very new, very fresh, very real twists on centuries-old concepts - like satire.

Quentin Tarantino Confirms He’ll Be Directing THE HATEFUL EIGHT

At a panel at San Diego Comic-Con 2014 for the first sequel ever to a Quentin Tarantino film, the comic book Django Meets Zorro, Tarantino tackled the question on everybody’s mind: The Hateful Eight.

As you’re aware, Tarantino was planning to shoot the Western as his next film until the script leaked online and he put everything on hold. During the Comic-Con panel, one of the audience members point blank asked Tarantino if he’ll be making the script as his next feature, following recent word that it could be heating back up again. Tarantino hemmed and hawed for a bit – before finally committing: “Yeah – We’re going to be doing The Hateful Eight.” So there you have it: The Hateful Eight will be the next Quentin Tarantino feature.
