It put me in an amazing mood as well, it had it flaws, but all films do.

I was surprised at the turnout for my town, but it was the first showing of only three this weekend. So many nerds.

I was basically the last to arrive and there was this frumpy chick reading in the far left corner by herself during the previews, I should have made a move.

Because that wouldn't be fucking creepy at all.

You realise some women do that kind of thing in order to attract dudes who are theoretically into that kind of thing now, right?

Honestly, if I were in your position, I would not let any opportunity go to waste.

But don't settle for pretend-nerds. Go for the proper ones.

Plus just like me a few people were in their work uniform, I overheard a woman saying she snuck out of work.

I missed the after credits scene because I had to get back so everyone else could leave because I had the keys as the boss is in Africa, got back at 16:50

I copped abuse and gave snark and intelligent hard cut-down (Crow-style) to a solicitor who completely fucked over an 86 year old for the purposes of finding a reason to charge her money just to fill out a tax residency form that I, personally, sent out last week. Long story short, he fucked up massively AS A SOLICITOR, and my team leader heard me cut him to shreds on the phone for taking advantage of an old woman. She was furious at me.

I will starve in the street before I give up my principals.

Luckily, this form should never have been sent out, so I might be in the clear for basically telling a solicitor to learn how to read and go back to law school.

So, yeah: Enjoy your movie breaks, cunthole. If you ever have kids, do what I'll do: Tell them to avoid university like it's ebola.

Which, interestingly, might be a real possibility for the next generation.

I went red and started shaking today. I went snarky, professional, but real quick to catch this cunt out (which I did). Took a lot of energy.

Nothing cynical about my thoughts on this movie at all. I've stated that I found the trailer to be largely unfunny. I'll still see the movie when it comes out on DVD though and will render final judgement then.

Saw it today with my son (well done 3D). It was highly enjoyable. Some hilarious moments (rat-like creature as mic for starters, and just got better from there) and amazingly innovative tech and special effects. Several ideas I'd never seen before, very clever. Great casting too. Worth a trip to the theater.

Tonight I saw The Raid 2. Great flick. Somehow managed to be even more violent than the first. Liked the story in the first one better but it's not really a big deal.

Guardians of the Galaxy

Holy shit that was fun. This is the first comic movie I see where I am not super familiar with the characters so I went in pretty blank on the story. I won't go too much into it as it's still new and spoilers would be a dick move, but it's definitely a fantastic flick.

If you hate, don't like, like, or love comic movies, watch this.

On another note, this summer has been awesome for Marvel movies. Cap, Xmen, and this movie are all great, ASM 2 was ok.

My knee jerk rating is at least a 9/10, maybe 10/10, but I usually reserve rating a movie I really enjoyed til the second time I see it.

It was an awesome movie, agreed. But no way can you compare a 6-, soon to be 7- movie iconic franchise to a single-all-your-eggs-in-one-basket-movie. No matter how you slice and dice it, they can't be viewed equally.

It was an awesome movie, agreed. But no way can you compare a 6-, soon to be 7- movie iconic franchise to a single-all-your-eggs-in-one-basket-movie. No matter how you slice and dice it, they can't be viewed equally.

The sequel was locked in even before the first one was released.
