I agree. What's the point of even seeing a movie if you already know Califum Jay's opinion of it?

So over the past few days I've watched all the Iron Man.

Iron Man 1 I've kinda seen before, never finished it because it was more whatever as it was on TV, but paying full attention, pretty cool origin story 7/10

Iron Man 2 was fucking great, you can never fault a film with Sam Rockwell 8/10

Iron Man 3 even though it was spoiled for me, it was pretty obvious anyway half way through 7/10

I have a new found respect for RDJ even if he's a manlet.

Now I'm caught up with all the marvel produced movies (except Hulk, blurg) now I'll probably watch Agents of SHIELD.

Fair warning, Agents of Shield hits a pretty big lull for like 10 episodes or so in the middle of the first season. But it got SO much better after The Winter Soldier came out.

Interstellar (2014)
i'm impressed by the music of Hans Zimmer much more, than by the movie itself
ok, 7 out of 10, but who cares?
and yes, i'm not a Nolan fan
- You like noisy music?
- Yes. The louder the better. Stops me from thinking.
- You don't like to think? What do you like?
- Never thought about it.

Nolan is one of my favorite filmmakers today. Interstellar is the definition of a mixed bag. All things considered, this ranks lowest in his filmography for me right now. Not that it's "bad," because there's a lot of amazing shit here. Just doesn't gel together at all, in my opinion. Everything he did in this film (barring amazing IMAX shots of wormhole/blackhole travel) was done far better in Inception.

Motherfuck. It's been 9 days since episode 5 of The Affair aired and Showtime still hasn't put it On Demand. They have every episode except that one. They even have Sunday's episode up.

In all seriousness, THIS was the problem - lack of cohesiveness and dramatic shifts in tone / characters acting......out of character. Forget who the director is and any preconceived notions you may / may not have of him and judge it purely for what it is. A fair to average and overly long sci fi soap opera.

I certainly wouldn't recommend it.

Decided not to pay to see it, I couldn't stand Inception and I don't think Interstellar is for me.

Give me more Marvel movies!!!

I saw Interstellar last night, and enjoyed it. It's not a perfect film by any means, but I considered my money well spent. 8/10

Currently on season 3 on Suits. So far so good, a bit repetitive but I like it.

just watched "The Drop". good story, well acted and directed. not exactly The Godfather, just another quality tale from the streets.
