So I will take it upon mysef to begin one.

So, without further ado - what films are you watching or what films are you anticipating at the moment?

Do you? What's your point?

What's the point of complaining about terrible movies?

Do you also complain about Justin Bieber releasing new music?

Just watched Take This Waltz on Netflix. It's simultaneously beautiful and depressing as hell. Worth a watch, but if you're like me and have a deep-seated fear of infidelity, it may as well be a horror film.

Watched Skyfall the other night.. Can tell it was inspired by Chris Nolan, but really enjoyed it for a Bond movie..

^ Right on dude.  I think Daniel Craig is easily the best Bond of all time.  Less silly gadget shit, slightly more serious tone.  I thought Skyfall was fantastic, but my favorite Bond flick is actually Quantum of Solace.  Many critics were not big on Quantum of Solace because it was a much darker flick for a Bond film, but that is part of what I like about it.

I only saw Quantam of solace at the movies & it didn't too much for me. If I remember it kinda lost me, so might need to revisit it again & see what I think.

Finally watched Prometheus last night.. Really enjoyed it. Haven't watched any of the Alien movies in about 15 years, so might need to get back onto the first 2 again.

The Squid And The Whale (2005)

Absolutely brilliant little indie film about a pair of New York intellectuals (Jeff Daniels and Laura Linney) going through a painful divorce and the effect it has on their two young boys.

8/10

Just watched both Zero Dark Thirty and Looper.  Both were pretty decent and I can definitely see myself watching both again, though I found parts of Looper to be somewhat predictable.

Squid & the Whale.  Saw that years ago and who doesn't love a movie that includes a drinking pre-teen and Anna Paquin.  That movie, to me, goes in that kinda genre of The Royal Tannenbaums, Life Aquatic, etc., etc., the kinda dark-humor arena.
